I agree, with both sides but you always will have people that abuse the system which makes them have to do this.
The fact that this "hurts" mostly people that break the TOS in the first place I don't see the big deal. It does hurt normal customers which always happens but in my eyes I'd be passed if everyone was torrenting and p2p that aren't even for their phone too...
I would take it apart and fix it. Usually it's a plug or cable that comes undone or a chip pops off. Check the internal battery connection also! The board itself shouldn't actually break. If something needs to be re soldered a shop will do if for like 10 bucks. Even if the display doesn't boot the system will and you can connect in. Worst case you destroy the chips by hand...
Fixing it if it's clear where it broke inside is usually faster.
It's not over they'll be asking for more. I support NASA as my friend is a NASA rocket scientist and he is far from rich. He figures out amazing solutions I'd never think of. I also have another friend that manufactures for NASA (by contracts) and he's rolling in money and has 2 huge houses. It's their efficiency and spending ways that make me rage not the projects.
My problem with NASA isn't the projects as SLS is a decent one. It's how they work, planning is always way off, spending is always high and final products are always late. They really need to figure out a solution to these problems, everytime things like this are released it makes them look bad. 400 mil isn't that much for this project but still could people of such high intelligence not see it coming or find a better way to plan? You know they are going to need more before it even launches. I'm sure it's not all them but what they do to get approved.... still you can always improve in planning, spending and efficiency. When it's taxpayer money it always seems like people think it's unlimited.
I have heard many times Microsoft employees say they have too many people.
I feel bad for the people, the companies need to be more responsible.... Though that'll never happen in the U.S.
Every union I have been part of has screwed us, has gotten paid more than us and lied about funds.
I still get letters about legal actions and that was LONG ago..
The only union I have ever enjoyed is teamsters but that's because everyone is afraid of them lol.
I agree and many are still failing even after huge bailouts and having debt wiped. They really need to take their head out of their asses and listen to people. I don't think I can take any more excuses why people arnt buying their cars... The interiors of cars and UIs just seem to be getting worse. After all this saving them and merging of companies they still think they are experts and don't need to listen to anyone.
It costed how much? It didn't work right, did not fully deploy and it was considered a success? Not to mention the material sunk? Now I see why SpaceX could replace NASA and this is coming from a Sci geek. They need to stop spending like idiots they ruin funding for all of us.
I'm in the beta and I can see people enjoying it that enjoy games like cs:go, payday, etc...
I don't see why people hate, just don't buy it if you don't want to play it.
I agree not to pre-order most games since they drop in price usually a couple weeks later.
I enjoy the frostbyte engine over most fps, engines. I'm sure it will have its click of players if they support it right.
My Asus machines have out lasted my ownership and the second owners are still using them.... Since when does everything fall apart because it's not apple? Lol
Next time look at the Apple desks at the Apple store and realize that most of those people are receiving support or repairs. It's like that with every company...
IMO Metro isn't horrible on a touch screen, I like the live tiles...
I think it's a very smart move in many ways..
This gets more people to use the same design which helps move towards universal charging. More production could lead to not only more stations but cheaper stations. They might find ways to improve on it or make it more effective.
Not sure why the AMD hate. I gave my friend my 3 year old AMD 5770 that I bought for 150 a couple years ago and he plays everything on high. I feel they have better Linux drivers by far and they have attempted to keep old hardware around longer. In my experience AMD has won bang 4 buck and lasts longer just stay away from xx and other cheap hardware brands.
NIVIDIA is trying to push them out they are already trying to force nividia only hardware on monitors, the companies are saying no universal is the key will give you a slot.
From giving excuses to lies and even bullying tactics. I don't think Apple can surprise me on how low they can go.
I watched the keynote and laughed how features 3 years ago are somehow are new now? Then they make shots that market share is down because the users are stupid? I'm surprised the users don't catch on.
Not a fan boy of anything but the truth I have used many brands of phones.
I agree publishers are a thing of the past plus they take most of the authors profits.
I know people that write books and self publish or use amazon to make more money than the days they used old school publishers.
If someone can do it better and cheaper in the same country you need to rethink your business.
When I went to college I changed from Computer Science to Business. I feel there are a couple reasons of this and why it hasn't changed...
First off it takes a certain person to program, as stated above some people will take it in like a sponge and some people will just never get it right. (I had that part down)
Secondly the poor funding and options in this area for colleges, I think sports teams get more funding than Computer Science. (That's how it was at my school.) I learned more off the interweb than I ever did from the classes.
Third Computer Science was very restricted on what schools, jobs, internships that I could get. It was so restrictive that I and others changed to business, math, etc... which opened up our opportunities tenfold.
In my experience I had more opportunities going ANY other path other than CS. If it happened with me than I am sure it happened to 1,000 of other college kids.
This is how the mega companies think and why they ruin games.... Let's throw a ton of money at people and give them a short deadline... whatever they don't finish well make it add on packs lol.
This is the reason indie games are on the rise, you think they would learn to save money and make a good game.
It doesn't take 500mil to make a good game.. The more they spend the more they nickel and dime us to death...
DRM isn't the problem is how overboard the companies go with the DRM. Like it was stated already companies want hardware info, hard drive info and probably even webcam images.
I feel a simple effective user friendly DRM is fine, anything more than that will start a new war on the Internet. Hurting them and the user more than its helping anyone. Remember when ads didn't try to take over your computer?

All good news now they just need to lower their prices so they are used more lol

I agree we get paid REALLY well, and it's part of the job. Either develop it yourself, pay a minion or find a new job. Lol
JFK tried to fix it and look what happened!
And global warming is a myth!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that supports humble bundle....
