    Getting a satellite in orbit is mostly a problem of speed, not altitude.

    Your ceramic coated rebar wouldn't go anywhere close to 22000 MPH by the time it reaches the surface. It would probably go slower than a ground fired artillery shell, with less control over its trajectory.

    The F-18 has a big advantage because it can go a lot faster. Besides, it makes sense to first solve the problems on a smaller and cheaper platform.

    A 2-meter scale model of a suborbital craft doesn't sound like we're close to SSTO at all.

    Satellites don't measure surface temperature. They may be truly global, but they aren't particularly accurate.

    and since in the usa almost everyone takes massive doses of antibiotics for even bad hair day, i think this is debunked with readily available data already.

    It's not sufficient to kill existing bacteria. You need to replenish the gut with the proper bacteria to test the hypothesis. Also, you need a good diet to sustain the bacteria that you want to keep.

    If they did somehow take in more calories then they put out without gaining weight they would be destroying matter and energy

    When you say "take in", you mean the food that people put in their mouths. But not all nutrients that people put in their mouths are absorbed in the blood stream. Some are passed in the stools, and others are metabolised by the gut bacteria.

I'm not sure that the technology is advanced enough that we can power public key encryption from induction in a small implantable device, but that's probably just a matter of time. There are already passive RFID cards that can do AES, which would be good enough for employees at the office buying a sandwich.
