I bought a 980 over the holidays. Runs 3x 1080p excellently. If I had the extra money to spend, I would have bought g-sync monitors, but they would cost more than my PC did, so screw it.
If I couldn't use it for 3d animation, what makes you think I can use it for video editing... and since when can a 3d designer do video editing anyways...
One has to wonder how many of these 19,000 were hosted by OVH, and why they couldn't stop the traffic from reaching the servers in their network... (Except that we already know that hosting providers only care about making a buck.)

I always felt that ATI (pre-AMD)'s Windows drivers weren't that bad. After starting to use Linux in the early 00's, I had to switch to Nvidia, and I haven't looked back. Yeah, they're both binary drivers, but Nvidia always worked better for me in Linux, and in cases where I dual-booted, this really made the difference as to which card I bought.

Personally, I would rather take uber than take a run down cab, driven by a person who doesn't know the city, let alone drive safely. My last cab ride consisted of a minivan with practically no electrical (the dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree), bald tires, in 3 feet of snow. Let's just say I'm glad I made it home safely. All these foreigners care about is making a buck. They don't give a shit about their cars, or how they drive (and how it affects their passengers). The people who run these cab companies make back-door deals with the city so they're the only people allowed to obtain medallions, which also prevents competition. Long story short, the taxi cab business is fucked, and I'm glad Uber is taking a stand against these corrupt bastards.
It doesn't teach you electronics. It teaches you the arduino IDE platform and pinouts. Stop calling it electronics. If you really want to learn electronics, you would fab your own board and solder the microprocessor to it yourself.
