Have they come up with an alternate method of doing pit stops without getting out of the car completely and changing cars mid-race? If not, I'm not interested.
I could totally understand if Github told DICCS to move their stuff to another website. The purpose of github is to share files related to OSS. Toilet humour isn't exactly software.
First off, fix Caller ID so people can't spoof their phone numbers. Even if people use the private number feature, the phone company knows who made the call.
Secondly, monitor exchanges for both high outgoing volume and high incoming volume (and especially sequential dialing) to find potential robocallers and telemarketers.
Problem solved.
I was a long supporter of VMware, but the sad fact is, their virtualization platform sucks. Any type of IO (be it CPU, memory, disk, or network) is enough to bring VMware to a crawl. Virtualbox is the only VM software that I've used that performs anywhere close to 1:1.
Microsoft has already got their hands bloody with Android, due to their FAT file system licensing, among other things. If anything Google/Android should be distancing itself from Microsoft, not letting them take over one aftermarket OS at a time.

This has been going on for at least 2 years. I'm surprised it took SlashDice so long to figure that out.
Sorry, I'm not actually familiar with DICCS. TFS makes it sound like the owner is using Github as their personal Pastebin.

Do you want a medal? Thanks for your contribution, but the world en-masse doesn't care.
You are a bad person. You don't discuss, you argue because you like attention. I like the truth, and discussion. Fuck off.
I wish I could +1 this into infinitum. BarbaraHudson (and her army of alt accounts) are trolls that just won't go away.
We don't care that you're different. Must be a soft news day at Slashdot... Oh wait. It's always a slow news day at Slashdot.
FAT file system for SD cards, among other things.

... gives people lazy eye, and they trust us to let them fix it? I'll take my chances, thanks.
It's already being used. The border between NK and SK are guarded by autonomous robots with machine guns.
Doesn't matter if you're on a contract. The carrier is the one responsible for OTAs because it's their network you're using.
I have an old Android phone with years-old vulnerabilities that no one has any interest in patching.
Blame your carrier for that. Most times they're just not interested in pushing out an OTA update because "money".
I know TFS mentions ksplice, but I thought this was the purpose of kexec as well? So really, it's not anything new.
... the feminists.
So this is more pandering that will only make twitter yet another hugbox for their SJW army.
No thanks, I'll pass on this feature.
I've read reviews of others on newegg/amazon with some DOA concerns
That's because people are retarded and mash the socket pins and send it back and Newegg doesn't check and send it out to the next retard.
The 980 has been out for months. I have one in my PC right now.
Does the G stand for Go? Or Google?
I think South Park hit the nail on the head on how I feel about this entire series. Yawn.
Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding!
We have a winner! Johnny, tell them what he has won....
(crickets)
Johnny?

Considering that my Kitkat 4.4.2 phone uses 1.17gb with nothing running, 0.5gb sounds a little silly.

Hey eggheads, shit or get off the pot already. I'm tired of reading of "what might happen in the future"... just do it for fucks sakes.
