    His feud with Dr. Rick Marshall is becoming more widely known, and with the impending documentary detailing how Hawking has been proven so amazingly WRONG, it seems obvious this is merely a stunt to distract the scientific community. Pulling the illness card is a sad attempt at detracting from the release of this informative documentary .

    Still, best of luck, Dr. Hawking.

    First, JavaScript is a very nice language indeed.

    Like any language, that depends on what you're trying to do. If you want to format the output of a date, there's not much built-in, so you have to do it yourself. If you want proper hash support, you're screwed. It can emulate it to a certain extend, but only goes so far.

    I'd _much_ rather see a scriptable version of D.

    Web Developer seems to be the best fit. Unless you actually know some principles of user interface design or development, don't put 'UI' in your title. Clint-Side Developer would be good if the person never touches anything like PHP/ASP, etc., and if they do, then 'Front-End Developer' would fit (front-end describes more than the client-side).

    Sure. Most people don't seem to realize that 'First Post' is part of the meta data of the file system. That's why it seems like nonsense - it really has nothing to do with anything, and the 'people' posting them seem like morons. Artificial stupidity was achieved years ago!

    I dunno about that. I'm pretty sure that if your only tool is a hammer, all of your problems start looking like nails . . . allowing the hammer to be "applied" to every application . . .

    I think an SSD would make for a very expensive hammer. Still, think about the low latency of such a hammer! Plus with the wear levelling feature, the useful life of and SSD hammer seems like it would be much more reliable over a spinning disc hammer. And the lower power requirements could pay for itself very quickly if you have an entire server room of carpenters. I don't think they did the math right on this one.

    Three wheelers have terrifying cornering problems. Note that you can't buy three wheeled ATVs anymore because too many people drove them like four wheeled cars and killed themselves.

    That would depend on the configuration. If you have the two wheels up front, and the rear wheel the one with power, that changes the dynamics considerably.
