Yeah, I'm sitting here playing "Air Calvary" via the new SNES emulator on my Zoidac2. And Friday is GBA day! Oh, and I will have a TG-16 emulator when I get home tonight.
The Zodiac is very rapidly replacing the GP32 as the handheld emulator device of choice.
Wait, what were we talking about? The ngag (aka "Taco")? The concept is good. Phone and game console. Add in a large, hi-res touch screen, a tiny hard drive and PDA functions. Oh, and make it look less goofy. Right idea, really bad implementation.
When, oh when are these types of gadgets (PDAs , "Smart Phones", etc.) going to start coming out with a hard drive? Hell, just put in a CF II slot and get the 4GB Microdive price down.
If you don't look like a Native American, then you yourself are an immigrant.
Actually, there are no "Native Americans" (or rather, anybody born here is a "Native American"). The first "Pre-historic Americans" were Asian immigrants.
Some advice: don't live in Memphis. Live in the county. The taxes are double in Memphis (property and wheel tax). Lakeland/Arlington is nice. You can get on I40 and cruise right down to front street.
I interviewed with them years ago, when they were where the new main library is now. In addition to C, they wanted someone with Clipper experience, which I didn't have.
Smart folks. And they have Jessie James as spokesman now!
I imagine we will see nukes on rovers some day. This whole business tends to go in steps. The last rover was tiny and limited. These rovers are more advanced and bigger. The next one may be a nuke and could travel hundreds of miles instead of a couple of miles (at most, if that far).
Of course, they are also working on gliders, balloons and giant "beach balls" for mars use.
I can't wait for the new, smaller nano-itx boards to come out. 4.5" on a side, 1GHZ CPU and draws 7 watts. I got an email from VIA claiming they will be released in April.
MB, slim DVD and laptop HD in a case the size of a large paperback book!
It will make my "K-Mart Toolbox Mini-ITX PVR" look like a full tower in comparison!
I don't know about that argument. Expression is expression.
Is drawing an image from memory really any different than taking a photo of the scene?
I can see outlawing the TAKING of the photo (you had to be there, so were at least an accomplice) , but possession?
It looks to me like if you are to ban imagery, you have to ban ALL IMAGERY. The drawing of the scene, has as much (or as little) potential to harm the victim as a photo.
Back when I was about twelve, I found a book on fireworks.
My first try at making black powder, I used a peanut butter jar to heat the charcoal, sulphur, potassium nitrate and rubbing alcohol. I found out what "pyrex" means when the bottom fell out of the jar.
My next attempt worked. I had a nice, big pile of dry powder. I wet a piece of cotton string and rolled it in the powder. When it was dry, I lit it to see if it would burn. It did, FAST! I dropped the fuse...in the pile of powder. Luckily, my eyebrows are very white, so my parents didn't notice they were missing.
I was telling this story to my 10 year old son today, as an explanation of why it was a bad idea to try to make a flamethrower out of bic lighter. Instead, he thought it was cool and wanted to know why I didn't try a third time.
If you didn't get it in writing from ATT, you're screwed. Don't worry though, ATT is going the way of the Dodo, being eaten by rats (Cingular).

Of course, 40GB would be better...
insular, arrogant attitudes
You are talking about france, right?
Contact me when you need to buy a house.
See, I have a brother-in-law in the Real Estate businness...

They just got here first.

Not a lot of porta-potties in space...
It wasn't the broccoli. It was the boiled eggs and burritos!

The boards I'vs seen do have an ethernet port...

I am a developer, I have a DAA and I have the snes beta now.
Unfortunately, I'm at work and my sync cable is at home.
I appear to be coming down with a mysterious illness!
Yoyo is da man!
thats really too bad! i was hoping to buy one of these!
So, go buy a Zodiac. You can get one now!
There are NES, Game Gear/SMS and ST emulators available for the Zodiac now. Word is, SNES any day now. More games by the day.
The "art" in question becomes more real as computer power advances. It is already hard to distinguish from the "real thing", according to the courts.
Rarely are people prosecuted for possession anyway -- they're prosecuted for trafficking.
It seems that possession is usually tacked on to a molestation charge to ramp up the prison time.

You forgot "slippery slope".
Soylent Green.
Are you male or female?
Not that there's anything wrong with that...
(Either way)
Try Lysol spray. It looks like the end of the world when that shit lights up!
You can also just run a 12v fan with 7v. It runs slow and quiet. Use a larger fan and you can move the same amount of air.

Damn genes!
It appears to work. I am trying to justify spending $180 for one when I can get a real handheld scope for $140.
I prefer a portable scope. Plus, it puts ancient gameboys to work.
