  1. If you have a newer laptop with no cd, and it came with Windows, just how are you going to dd anything? And the solutions that claim to work under Windows, only one did, and it doesn't work on larger USB keys, which are becoming ultra-cheap nowoadays.

UN ASKING EXPERT PANEL TO ASSESS ZIKA RISK AT RIO OLYMPICS

    OLYMPICS NEWS

LONDON (AP) -- The World Health Organization's chief says she will convene an expert committee to consider whether the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics should proceed as planned, following concerns raised about the threat of the Zika virus.

In a request last month, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen asked WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan to evaluate whether the Rio games this year should be delayed or postponed. Chan said in a letter released by Shaheen on Friday that WHO has sent senior scientists to Brazil four times to assess the risk of Zika to the approximately 500,000 athletes and visitors expected to attend the Aug. 5-21 games in Brazil.

Plenty of laptops no longer have a dvd, so it's not like you can easily install linux or bsd afterwards, and to install from usb requires that you already have a distro that runs off the usb - and many of them, despite claims to the contrary, won't boot following instructions.

  9. So send the employer notice the employer has now created a toxic work environment, with morale in the pits, etc.,and that until the situation is corrected, you won't be coming in - but keep those paychecks coming, or else ...

  10. Maybe - except that Microsoft already take it as "OK" if you close the window. The only way is to refuse ALL updates until it's safe. And even then, be prepared to nuke your hard disk from orbit.

Better to use them on the parents of the 4-year-old who was lest to climb into the gorilla enclosure. The worst part is that the edited video that makes the rounds makes the gorilla look aggressive, whereas it's clear in this video that's not the case. A copy of the video had been turned over to the zoo and police, so which one made the edited version?

Prepare for job losses, and further complaints from those who don't understand why it doesn't make sense to earn that much cooking and bagging food.. ridiculous...

If you're only paying your firefighters $15/hour and total hours so that they don't get benefits, you deserve to DIAF.
