I have read about this case, and the women who were involved chose to be prostitutes. On woman was renting space in her incall location to other women. This and the fact that they had chosen to come to the US, from Korea, is the basis of calling these women trafficked. Law enforcement likes the term, and the media reuses it, even when it doesn't apply. Calling these women trafficked, removes their agency, and is repugnant.
This seems like a great tool to use to force Intel to disable all the MEs out there. Since we know this is a very large security hole, at least with processors based on and newer than Sandy Bridge, it seems the right thing for Minix3 to do.
What about the bailout money the other car companies took? What about the subsidies for fossil fuel companies? How much money has the United Launch Alliance taken? At least some of the money SpaceX has received was from providing resupply flights to ISS and for NRO satellite launches. Solar City has also installed solar power stations for US military bases. So at least some of the money has been from selling products and services.
It is not out of the ordinary for governments to provide subsidies to industries that are just starting. Especially, in the case of industries that will provide continues economic development over time and those that address significant risks to the current economy (i.e. climate change).
If you really want to pull them, then use them to pull pull-cord through, and cover the outlets with solid covers. This allows you to pull whatever other cable you or the next owner might want through. I would then recycle the coax.
But, it might be better to just leave them in place. If you ever decide to sell the house, perspective buyers may not be cord cutters.
I see no reason for food and/or the personal care industry would want this. It just means their customers would buy their product less frequently. So, the only way this will find its way into use, is if regulators require it. That would require them to be more concerned about their constituents, than the companies. Since when has that happened?
If you upgrade to Windows 10 Professional, you can control when and how you take updates. I do this, and it works just fine. You can find the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windo...
"Sorry, I am too busy right now", would be my response to any request for my time. It is idiotic provision and any reasonable person would understand that for a clause like that a "'make myself reasonably available'" would be 0 hours, unless they were willing to pay you as a consultant. The judge would laugh them out of court; I doubt many judges would go along with a 2 year period of indentured servitude.
I would like to see an audit on this, before I would want to start using it. The NSA has never been particularly interested in letting others have secure systems.
One of the reasons for this is to allow it to adjust the force used to lighter weight drones. Also, it is a lot less complex then the steam driven system, so easier to maintain.
Multiple copies in geo diverse locations is going to be the most reliable way to keep your data safe. So, a safe deposit box, in a location that is as far from your home as you can justify is your best option. Also, since it will not be under your direct control, you will want to make sure you encrypt it.
As for archival media, I use Corsair Survivor USB sticks.
I know others have said it, but, here is a link: https://www.ic3.gov/default.as...
Going to law enforcement with the issue, should be a decent shield from prosecution. IANAL, so take this with a big grain of salt. So, maybe talk to a lawyer and ask them to file the complaint.
File a complaint with them at: http://www.consumerfinance.gov.... Then the bank will need to respond. But this sort of the situation is why they were created.
All communications between pilots and air traffic control are in English the world over. This is a point that was missed in the original post. It is one way that English is already the most accepted international language.
I just got my first glasses in August. I was initially advised that progressive glasses should work well for me by the store manager. Later when I talked to a tech about it, he advised that progressive glasses are a bad idea for anyone how is wearing glasses for the first time. So, I almost made the same mistake you did. It seems a really bad idea for someone who only needs one step of lens. I needed both near and far correction.
At 16 participants, this isn't much of a study. You need at least a few hundred people to get anything this is even slightly useful. With 16 participants how many were in the control group?
Maybe in a small town, but in the city I was born in, Los Angeles, the Department of Water and Power still is running both for the city. I do agree, that you can't just hook up to a utilities power system and expect to be payed.
You can though, be allowed as a private producer to add electricity to the system. Residential solar power systems are doing it all the time. Though, I don't know of any that actually pay for it, instead you get credits from your overage to cover power you use when not producing.
As others have pointed out, not everywhere are corporations running things. I am sure he could find somewhere to setup a power plant based on his technology.
That said, I can also understand why someone, if they had such a working device, would be very worried about other stealing the technology. In the linked article, it is mentioned that a US company purchased the intellectual property and licensing rights in January. I assume they will be monetizing it, if it is real.
They did have a battery that was punctured and they quickly addressed the issue and are offering free fixes to all owners. I in no way intended to indicate that Tesla's are unsafe to drive. My point was in the one case where there was an issue found, they quickly responded to the problem. Sorry, if you misunderstood the point I was trying to make.
So how about you start producing cars that you don't have to recall because they are killing people, instead of talking down your competition. Just a thought. Last I knew GM had recalled more cars this year then they sold in the last 5 and that was before the latest round of recalls. Sure Tesla has had a few safety issues, but they have addressed them head on. When GM starts doing that, I might actually care what they have to say.
Defense attorneys need to ask any and all law enforcement offers who they depose and/or question on the stand if Stingray was used in the case. This is the best way to undermine this.

Maybe it will be enough to get you guys at Slashdot to do it! ;-)

They aborted because of an "Anvil Cloud".

My suggestions would be "fool", "crazy", "deluded" and "zealot".
