    I was just wondering : what about those cards that don't have a magnetic track or a bar code. I mean those secure items that are chip-based cards. How could this device "fake" them as they are the only sure way to keep personal information at this time.

    I know that regarding security nothing is sure. But at least it is the surest I know (except if you carry a 800 kg vault in your pocket ...)

    If you want to know in France the amount of taxes is about 80% of the total price you pay for a liter of fuel.

    This 5 second rule is unknown where I live (France) If you drop food on the floor you just got to cook something else and never pick it back to eat it.

    Is this an american/english rule or is it only unknown in France ?

    No matter what features may be included in GNUCash there is still one missing : Importing M$ Money 99 files. This would be the only way for me to get rid of this M$ software and replace it by a Linux compliant one. My Money 99 database is filled with two years of deb/creds the I wouldn't like to loose it by migrating from a software to an other.
    Until there I still need a computer able to boot under Windows. What a pitty !!
