You'd be surprised at how powerful psychology is in convincing someone that something is true. If people think that tap water is disgusting, then they'll psyche themselves out to taste it as disgusting even if it's perfectly fine. The stigma of tap water already motivates people to buy and drink bottled water, even though it's the same product with even less regulatory oversight. You and I might know there's no problem, but the emotionally-driven proles out there will disagree, and they make the decisions around here.
Apparently these tiny elliptical galaxies were gravitationally thrown out by the cluster. I guess some clusters don't respect that some elliptical galaxies were born this way.
You're anti-vaxx and libertarian? Why am I not surprised.
If it makes you feel better, think of California as a privately-owned club. The club is owned by its citizens who elect board members who can set rules for everyone in the club, such as your kid needing to be vaccinated in order for them to attend one of the club's official educational facilities. Don't like it? Too bad, you can always vote with your dollars/feet and join some other club that enjoys the risks of endangering their children's health.
Our private club wants to discriminate against those who threaten the health of others in the club, which as a libertarian you should be perfectly fine with. Freedom of association, right?
Are you really trying to justify being irritatingly pedantic in order to somehow enhance the discussion? All it has accomplished is this timewasting derail.
Online posts are such absurd crapshoots of appeals to authority and opinion as fact, even people (myself included) who seem to know what they're talking about spout so much profound misinformed nonsense and outright fantasy it's hilarious to take anything read online seriously. On the internet nobody knows you're a dog, nobody.
Keeping that in mind, maybe it's just better to let this minor meaningless slip-up go?
How do you know the original poster was a Democrat?
Furthermore, why do you care about petty partisan bullshit? People like you are the problem, playing into the stupid dichotomy and failing to realize that both major parties are filled with assholes.
This has also been thoroughly analyzed as well. Turns out there are lots of moves that lose the game immediately from the first move.

There are more illegal transactions with paper cash than bitcoins
No shit sherlock, bitcoin is small compared to the GDP of an entire fucking country. Now wake me up when 7% of ALL DOLLARS is lost to crime and you'll have a more accurate comparison.
If god forbid I'm ever in East Texas I want to see those buildings of empty offices that companies buy in order to sue in that venue. They're like a haunted house for patent demons to dwell in.
If you bothered to take Econ 103 you'd know that market failure happens all the time. Markets are never perfectly competitive the way libertarians wish they were, and many industries are oligopolistic. The idea that what's best for the individual is always best for the group is a classic fallacy of composition that libertarians make all too often.
The worst they can find.
Even people who approve of this idea are saying toilet-to-tap. You may as well be saying ass-to-mouth.
And you never go ass-to-mouth.

I sure hope the Obama administration puts two and two together and realizes how wasteful mass surveillance programs are and try to end them.
SPOILER: They will not.
Libertarians: those evil statists are going to use this to justify their slate of freedom-hating legislation.
See how annoying that was?
These anticipatory posts about expected reactions are just as annoying as the supposed real reactions they are predicting.
Glad people like you are proving feminists right.
I still choose to believe that the CMB cold spot is a parallel universe entangled with ours, and I want my belief treated with respect. #teachthecontroversy

Don't give the moochers any support, they'll just spend it on alcohol-filled nebulas

Logan's Run was a documentary, I swear!
Getting autism from vaccinations is Grade A pure bullshit, so sure.

Considering these guys' competency to put hits on people I highly doubt that.
It *may* be true that we are warming the planet. But there is absolutely ZERO funding to prove the opposite
Yes there is, it comes from think tanks who aren't big fans of the scientific method.
You mean like noted liberal Alex Jones?
Fertility rates are dropping in most countries around the world, particularly in developed countries. Your data point is nothing more than anecdotal.
All the assholes are in the immigration department.

As opposed to bitcoin, which also has a publicly accessible blockchain of every transaction?
I actually can't tell if you're being ironic or not. Which currency is the trustworthy one here?
