Seconded. The number of transplants I've met who complained about the policies and taxes they fled from, only to vote for the same shit in my state is mind boggling. Bring it up to them and they either get a lifeless look in their eyes or they change the topic agressively to bitch about what they assume your politics are, trying to deflect criticism.
Calling the people who killed the Nazis is not. Or do you think the men sent to die held the same progressive lgbtq agenda as the modern left does? Either way it was a disingenuous remark I was replying to and you know it.
Everyone is quick to talk shit about McCarthy, but nobody seems to remember that he ended up being right about communist infiltration in our government, particularly in the state department.
I'd argue that we are living outside what we were designed for. By designed, I mean our technology has advanced far in excess of evolution and natural selection. We have not had nearly enough time to adapt to the environment that we ourselves created. Natural selection is a joke in first world countries considering that we can keep the braindead alive, so that isn't helping either. We're rapidly outgrowing our fish tank, and I think the only (somewhat) lasting solution will be genetic modification or one seriously huge culling of the population, both of which are pretty disturbing.
Perhaps our lifespan was so short the effects of those bad proteins didn't have enough time to kill us before we died of other causes?
The appendix is not only in other species but it has been independently evolved in multiple species.
What do you mean by independently evolved? How are they different? This stuff is way outside my knowledge but I find it interesting, if you have anything I could read on it.
so ultimately being better than your fellow human will remain a thing until we are all programmed not to do so.
That's going to take thousands of years, if ever. We are all in competition with each other, whether we want to admit it or not. We are in constant competition for resources, to attract a mate and have higher social status, same as the rest of the animals. To program out competition would arguably be the end of evolution for humans. For us to adapt and survive, some of us have to get the shit end of the stick. It sucks, but that's just the way it works.
If the amount of money is that low, why not just cut out the middle man and lower taxes according to family situation? This is being paid for by the taxpayers, after all. Seems like a big, long and expensive roundabout way of taxing people less.
Damn fucking right I'm entitled to the property I worked for decades to buy with money I earned. I put in time and effort. You are advocating for people to be entitled to steal that property from me without consent or reparations. Do you see where the issue is? The funny part is that I am living innawoods, not quite like Uncle Ted did (He/was/ right about a lot of things, you should read his work), but I'm doing it. Renewable energy, natural spring for my water supply that I developed. And before you have a hemorrhage, no, I don't believe that his bombing of innocent people was right, and I do not endorse what he did. His writing, however, has proven to be accurate. He has predicted the current political climate with stunning accuracy.
This has been bothering me for years. I could point to potential causes, but it would really just be guessing. I think this signifies the downfall of the west. The curiosity is gone. I ask people "Don't you want to know how this thing you use every day works? What if it breaks? Arn't you at least a little curious?" They don't give a single fuck. They will just buy a new one, or pay somebody else to do it. As far as they are concerned, it's magic. Curiosity leads to innovation, and we have a serious lack of it. It's a significant shift in our culture that will not bring anything good.
It really doesn't say a thing. "just make your own platform" Okay "lol we don't have to host you, just get your own servers" Okay, I'll buy my own servers "lol we don't have to process your payments, just like, make your own multi billion dollar payment processor" Yeah, that's totally fucking reasonable. I'm waiting for the regulation hammer to come down on these douche bags.
It's easy to say that, but you have no idea how to do it. You have no idea what current procedures are, nor do you have any suggestions to improve them. It's easy to sit on the sidelines saying "DO BETTER", isn't it?
No, that's bullshit. "Don't do anything questionable" Define questionable. Every year the threshold for questionable can be reduced. Do you really want to advocate for that? "Oh well he did something that might have been bad, so he deserves to be hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt and his life ruined, because he maybe possibly did something wrong"
Only when the average man becomes extremely uncomfortable. So not for a long time.
I'm surprised people are expressing displeasure at the thought of this. I'd like to see these other categories brought back.

REEEEEE KNOT-SEES
Should focus more on taking down child rape and human trafficking gangs instead of larping about """ai""" and other tech buzzwords.

Or they could just leave, since they're here illegally and are not wanted (by people on the right, anyway).
Or you could just watch the video.
Not stealing, nintendrone. Suck my star spangled cock.

why didn't those bad proteins get evolved away.

I wish they hadn't gotten rid of it, it was a great way to transfer books. I've got a folder full of what you described.
Those people are going to come for you.
They're coming for you and you're not going to be safe in your gated communities.

Nope, just an angry cunt that lives innawoods who doesn't want some privileged government hippy dippy trying to steal my property through legislation.
Impressive word salad of strawmans kiddo

Not an argument.
