I'd say this is unlikely as you're likely to want to back up the song you bought on the ipod to a computer. Transfer of files that way is not really part of the current model (to prevent people DLing their songs onto another computer).
>With Allofmp3.com, you buy the song in Russia (legally), and import it into the US using the internet.
>Since it's legal, it's still theft, but not piracy.
Not true. Allofmp3 don't pay for a lot of the music that's on their site. i.e they've stolen it from the rights holders (many small independent record labels that struggle to survive anyway, I know a friend owns one of these labels).
They're crooks and should be shut down. I mean thr RIAA will go after little kids for just dling from p2p (which I'm not necessarily saying is bad) even though they see no financial gain and there are these jokers making lots of money and they can't be shut down. The situation's rediculous.
The good thing about the alpha line is the memory bandwidth. essentially this is the tech that intel bought when it got alpha (along with the political gains of course). compaq still uses the alpha in it's proper hpc machines and will continue to do so until the memory bus technology of the alpha is rolled into the ia64 line.
When that happens ia64 will be a good proposition, until then i'd stick with alpha...
I stand corrected.

I could be wrong though.

Looks to be possible. The plastics might even match a Mac Mini :)

the "cosmology machine" is small fry compared to the Cray T3e we have in manchester (www.csar.cfs.ac.uk)
and that's our old machine...
