Criminals need light to see too. Try painting graffiti on a wall while it's completely dark. And I'll far more easily spot a torch flashing in my garden than someone hiding behind bush. I'll be lobbying my local council to do this.
I was thinking the same thing. Must have been really hard on the parents - and the confusion the kid must have gone through not understanding what exactly happened, or why. Hopefully this surgery has brought them all some relief and happiness.
The caps lock only needs to be pressed twice per string of text. Once to turn it on, once to turn it off. That means, I could hit the caps lock and type out 500 E's. That would be +500 E, but only +2 for capslock.
If he really wants to bicker, he should have complained about the Scroll Lock. That button is on the verge of death.
"...they worry it will reinforce doubts about the merits or safety of vaccines. It shouldn't, says lead author Andrew Read, a biologist at Pennsylvania State University, University Park: The study provides no support whatsoever for the antivaccine movement."
Clearly this guy doesn't understand how idiots work.
I had to scroll down far enough in the article to see THIS PICTURE to actually understand wtf they were talking about. Once I knew they meant those bloody "USE OUR APP" screens (that are basically a full-screen advert) that you have to click through just to reach the page you actually wanted. Waste of time. Waste of data. Waste of any chance of me actually downloading your app.
Thing is, if I wanted to view the information in your app, I probably would have downloaded it and used it. Chances are, I'm perusing the info in Chrome because I only visit the site once or twice and I don't see any value in wasting space on my phone for an app that works just fine in a browser (IMDB: I am looking at you).
The laws never really stopped them in the past from playing, so nothing's really going to stop them now... I'm more interested in how these laws will affect the black market.
Absolutely. In past jobs, while I've been sweating my balls off in an uncomfortable golf shirt and pants in a hot-as-fuck office, my female coworks get to wear nice light blouses, capris, skirts, dresses, etc. Best part is, we didn't even face the public or any external clients.
If clothing so important, I'll just buy a suit and tie, sling it on my chair, and take a vacation. It's the clothes that do the work after all, right?
"The update, which is necessary to run recent games and apps that require Android 5.0 APIs..."
followed by:
"Nvidia has stressed that it is an optional update..."
So let me get this straight... Nvidia says the update which is mandatory to play newer games and possibly older games that are updated is not mandatory for their device specifically designed for gaming... Whadafuq
Sure is in Canada. My theiving provider actually has the gall to charge $15/gig over the limit, too. $15! Our plans our nuts, too. I pay over $100/mo for 8 gigs... and that's a reduced rate. Normally it'd probably be closer to $150 or more for the plan.
"If a person doesn't take reasonable steps to keep their call private, their communications are not protected by the Wiretap Act."
Are the calls not all recorded by default? There's already no privacy if that's the case. But then, the next step would be - how do they know that the call was pocket-dialed without listening to it first?
Seriously - I feel like Google+'s only fan. The layout is far better than the alternatives. It doesn't give a false sense of security. It's much more in tune with my phone. It's easier to navigate. It's not flooded with fucking idiots. There are no ads. It supports animated gifs... the list just goes on and on and on. Why the hell did it not catch on like FB?
People argue that they "already have a social network" but that didn't stop them from leaving MySpace in favour of FB.
I mean, everybody loves steak. Maybe we should have Steak Week - like shark week, but more delicious.
Slershdut in partnership with MogaCerp!
All I can think of is the "Gox" from Dr Seuss's One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish... This is what having kids does to your brain. haha
I pass a few gas stations on my way home every day. I'll scan the site to see which ones have the best price

Nice try, criminal!

more importantly - will it blend?

:( poor little G+. I love you little dude!
Safe to assume that we'll see nothing and the corporations will rake in the savings.

Luckily (and I should have mentioned) there is I think a $50 or $100 cap on that fee.

Is there a tool to check and see if you've been infected?
Thank you! I was coming here to say the same thing. It would be nice to know how these stats stack up to an on-site surgery.
One step closer to Laser Sharks!
Sometimes?
