    Criminals need light to see too. Try painting graffiti on a wall while it's completely dark. And I'll far more easily spot a torch flashing in my garden than someone hiding behind bush. I'll be lobbying my local council to do this.

    I was thinking the same thing. Must have been really hard on the parents - and the confusion the kid must have gone through not understanding what exactly happened, or why. Hopefully this surgery has brought them all some relief and happiness.

  9. The caps lock only needs to be pressed twice per string of text. Once to turn it on, once to turn it off. That means, I could hit the caps lock and type out 500 E's. That would be +500 E, but only +2 for capslock. If he really wants to bicker, he should have complained about the Scroll Lock. That button is on the verge of death.

    I had to scroll down far enough in the article to see THIS PICTURE to actually understand wtf they were talking about. Once I knew they meant those bloody "USE OUR APP" screens (that are basically a full-screen advert) that you have to click through just to reach the page you actually wanted. Waste of time. Waste of data. Waste of any chance of me actually downloading your app.

    Thing is, if I wanted to view the information in your app, I probably would have downloaded it and used it. Chances are, I'm perusing the info in Chrome because I only visit the site once or twice and I don't see any value in wasting space on my phone for an app that works just fine in a browser (IMDB: I am looking at you).

    Absolutely. In past jobs, while I've been sweating my balls off in an uncomfortable golf shirt and pants in a hot-as-fuck office, my female coworks get to wear nice light blouses, capris, skirts, dresses, etc. Best part is, we didn't even face the public or any external clients. If clothing so important, I'll just buy a suit and tie, sling it on my chair, and take a vacation. It's the clothes that do the work after all, right?

    Sure is in Canada. My theiving provider actually has the gall to charge $15/gig over the limit, too. $15! Our plans our nuts, too. I pay over $100/mo for 8 gigs... and that's a reduced rate. Normally it'd probably be closer to $150 or more for the plan.

There's already no privacy if that's the case. But then, the next step would be - how do they know that the call was pocket-dialed without listening to it first?

    Seriously - I feel like Google+'s only fan. The layout is far better than the alternatives. It doesn't give a false sense of security. It's much more in tune with my phone. It's easier to navigate. It's not flooded with fucking idiots. There are no ads. It supports animated gifs... the list just goes on and on and on. Why the hell did it not catch on like FB?

    People argue that they "already have a social network" but that didn't stop them from leaving MySpace in favour of FB.
