The production quality of the original akira movie was extremely high.. even today, when compared to feature level classical animation it is very impressive. From a student of animation (classical) standpoint I would like to see a remake that has the same production level.. if it going to be made in North America maybe style of the character animation and possibly design would change (more pantamime etc.. closer to a "disney style") it would be interesting.. I would love to see James Baxter, Glen Keene etc.. work on a animated "cyber punk" film.. but this will never happen. oh well. I hope there are some classical animation students / geeeks to give insight. *note Akira is so. good the FX is amazing it was actually lipsync.. the tech design/layout and OMG the crowd scenes!

There is alot of video games played when we aren't drawing. Up until a little while ago there was a good representation of most of the systems. Halo multiplayer. capcomVSSnk2 super smash bros. melee. etc... but recently someone brought in all the NES games and a NEster Cd. since then the only game system that is running continuously is a dreamcast with some 8bit game. I don't know if the popularity is due to nostalgia or good game design. ONe thing is for sure the games were harder. and in general better designed. and nothing gets your blood pumping like _________-- insert your fav NES game here.
I have a pjb with a 40gb Hd
yes the usb connection does suck. but I only really find that I have to load my music once.. everything after the initial load, is really small loads but mostly editing/sorting the contents...
also I think that 40gb is to small I would like an ecessive(sp?) mp3 player. how about the osiris backpack with the speakers. + 4 WD12000BB(120gb) in firewire external cases. + a sony picture book to control everything + a huge battery.. sure this setup isn't practical or small.. it is large and heavy and maybe not every feasible(sp?) but I think it is cool.. you can run around the city with your ghettoblaster onyour back and when people ask what music you have you can say silly things like.. oh 20th century jazz all of ludwig van + a large selection of 90's hiphop and drum n' bass ^_^ plz don't flame me I am scared enough posting on/.

I am planning to try and build one of those for september.. [skule].. I am looking forward to the nforce mobo.. cause I think they are small enough + some pci agp riser cards to I can make it all flat... I donno how I am going to do anything yet. just thinkin'
