The http://www.kartoo.com has been around for a few years and I still use it from time to time. Just a bit suprised that I haven't seen any other search engines visualize the result and there relations with each other.

More people more capital to invest and to make revenue from so I don't believe that the biggest reason. More legalisation and the fact that in Sweden the goverment own all the railroads and put down good fiber and rented out the capacity.
All the language are turing compatible anyway so why bother to compare running speed, which algorithm you use decides much more the actual runtime speed than which language that are used to describe the algorithm.

Also started a new project at www.edemocrazy.com to create a platform for creating parties run through direct democracy. Still in planning but will probably have a sample applition up and running by the end of this year.
In the end everything programming language is turing compatible. Personally I want to get away from programming details to be able to more complex systems
Really supports the Freenet idea, information should be free whatever it is. So closed my paypal and they could get some money from conservative f**ks instead.
I belive all information should be avaible for everybody, freedom shouldn't be sacrified for idiots (yeahh, that includes microsoft monkeys and other brown noses like sales people and managers) that execute unknown code on their machines.
Remember some old electronic fanzine about virus coding "hex" something during my BBS time.
Cannabis is not dope, less harmfull than alcohol. Bet Darl would have been much more chilled if he smoked some, but he is probably on coke the arrogant fuck.
If you take a look at IBM website you see that have produced a lot of helpful documentation for people to learn how to switch to Linux for a long time.
So nothing new really, think this is strategic decision they made a few years ago but they had to wait for all the software to mature.

may be a famous paper in some police states like the US, but for most people on the web is just another web site that wants to track peoples habits.

Using gentoo myself now myself, I think it once you started using a debian based distro is kind of hard to move back to use rpm and redhat again.
