    If this really is your tablet experience, then you need to buy a better quality tablet. As for your pronouncement that tablets are a fad close to extinction, I'm sure that is as accurate as most analyst predictions available on the internet today.

    It's not just about faster. Smaller, more efficient, easier to transport are all good reasons to upgrade if you have the means. Beside, the grim reaper of hardware is always clawing at your door. Nice box you have there, I'd hate for something like a busted water pipe or lightning strike to carry it to the other side.

    It certainly seems to happen more often than one a week. The wife of a guy I work with leaves her Window laptop in sleep mode at night and it will wake up on its own at 3AM to update, flooding the bedroom with light from the screen. I suppose that feature is this one http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979878. Fun with Windows.

    AT&T's statement sounds like they are setting up a law suit to prevent Google from supplying what they have so far refused to supply. I can see their lawyers saying "We did not get the EXACT same deal, so it's unfair and must be stopped. Our client can't go forward with investments until the matter is settled." Once it's "settled" there is no reason to invest.
