So where do you draw the line at what is a "religious value" and what is right and wrong? Is killing only illegal because of the Bible? Or because it's simply detrimental to society? There are a lot more justifications for making gambling illegal than just "it's in the bible" just like killing and stealing. Just because something happens to be in the bible doesn't mean religion is the justification for it. I'm an Atheist and I still think abortion is murder (at least past the first trimester, before that it's debatable).
I gave Valve the benefit of the doubt that they had added at least some optimizations, and that it might run better than Quake. Plus Quake only came out 8 years ago. Not 10. Quake2 came out 6 years ago. So even if it were unmodified Quake2 That's still 6 years.
Supposedly the multiplayer is identical and compatible. So I don't see why anyone not interested in bot matches or single player would buy CZ.
And I don't see any bot match tournaments popping up...
I think it's due mostly to the shiny or reflective shaders that seem so popular. Also when something is low resolution you actually imagine a lot more detail than they they usually end up drawing in a high resolution version of that same texture. At least I do...

Then stop playing games on a 6 year old engine.
They must have meant March 2005...
Could this kill the plan before it has a chance to start? Is this trying to say that costing less than a trillion dollars will kill the plan?
