Well, it's bigger because there's a whole extra digit. Rendered on an 8-led display there's more lights just changing from the four to the six. Any sort of representation with actual currency it's likely to be bigger especially if it's coinage:)
I've been thinking for a while about something along the lines of the "Young Lady's Illustrated Primer" as described in Neal Stephenson's The Diamond Age... there has to be a way of doing it with some smart agents (or insert appropriate name for semi-smart AI here) and tying in the information in wikipedia/google:)
Linux IS basically linux, except when the forks of Ubuntu seem to offer differing hardware support options because of kernel version/configuration/etc and the network config tool in the WM's have hissy fits over x piece of hardware vs y piece.
Corporatisation a bad thing? Slap a Coca-Cola logo on my ass if I'll be able to work on my car without tools (being strong and dextrous enough to undo bolts with my fingers) and see through walls or clothing!
