    a lot of them weren't. the cops would give up after a few days or only concentrate on the big fish at the top. a lot of murders used to go unsolved unless you had a lot of witnesses. or the cops would pick up a few black or hispanic kids and blame it on them. Like the Central Park Five in NYC

    i have a hot spot on my iphone. if my internet went out and i absolutely needed to vpn into work i'd use my phone and expense it later. or i'd call the people that control our company phones and ask them to enable the hot spot feature on my employer owned Samsung Galaxy. not a big deal and not worth a second monthly bill just to have a circuit i'll rarely use

    but since phones can receive at least a dozen frequencies each, isn't each device filtering out all the traffic in the air around it that isn't destined for that device?

    you still have tens of thousands of people broadcasting on the same frequencies and phones still have to filter all that traffic out. how does more towers or drones solve this issue?

  14. my first cell phone i had 450 monthly minutes and no texting. each one was like $.25. i remember the days when monthly plans only had like 60 minutes and you drive 5 minutes away from home and you would be roaming and paying a lot more. another few years and data will drop in price

    i have 30GB free on my 128GB iphone. why would i want to rely on the cloud for anything? especially with data limits the way they are?

    the latest anandtech review says apple's way is still the fastest for performance. micro sd is ok for streaming but sucks for putting apps on the it

    this is the way US manufacturing used to be. until ladder manufacturers were sued, ladder makers would skimp every penny from the final product and 80's news stories are full of companies whining about spending an extra nickel for some safety part.
