Uh. usually the retail outlets have things locked up in the back on average a week before release (even longer for DVD's and movies).
Not to mention that Nintendo does not ship to the retail outlets, unless it's a smaller place. the large chains happen to have thier own internal distrobution channels and all product goes through them, save for purchases from local businesses, and store to store orders.
Actually, it was soon after the united States became independant Franklin and Webster got together and started to change the language.
Thankfully Webster kept Franklin from doing what he wished, which was dropping all the silent letters in words. Then things would have been really screwed up.
'Though, we'd have more literate Americans.
(And I'm thinking my karma's going to take a beating from that...)
I know some of the more recent orb coolers have dual fan set ups, with the lower fan foing at a much higher RPM.
So dual fan setups are out there, and yes, the weaker fan pushing to the stronger one would work better.
Personally, I just stick wth stock on my computer. It runs fairly cool as is, so other than the getting the extra 10 mhz out of it, it's not worth useing a second fan.
Well, in my experiance, it's more often the new that doesn't work with the old. Most MS programs have decent support for thier predicessor, but the standards they use change, and thus make the new incompatable withthe old.
Actually, to some it's a viable solution. I know my school used satallite (when it first came out, and after the RF supplier went under). At peak usage it was real pain in the rear, but peak only happened in my experiance 3 or 4 times in a school year.
It also supplied 2 schools. Which, if all labs were being used, you'd be looking at 60 - 75 connections.
And unless downloading is often done, you're not going to have 60 students requesting information at the same time, so the bandwidth that a student has avalaible at a given time is likely enough to do thier work.
Fact is, in windows 2000 professional it's beyond easy to change the file type assiciations.
In fact, while the artical mentions that you should be able to change the file association by going into the properties of the file... well, truth is, in Windows 2000 Professional... you can.
Nice little thing. First page of properties... filename, type of file, and "Opens with" listing the application associated with it... and then a nice sized "Change" button.
I haven't a clue if this is the same on ME or XP, but it's certainly there on 2k Pro. `
Raceing rockets might show few benifits right off, but looking deeper, it is a good thing.
1) Create a visable result for capital put into research and development of rocketry. Visable results tend to be more impressive than paper proof, allowing for more capital and thus more research.
2) Research, unlike in auto raceing could be more directly applied ot commercial designs. In auto raceing speed, acceleration and handling are all assets, with fuel efficency as well.
With rockets, the fact remains, getting craft from ground to end point as fast and as cheaply as possible.

Probably a few until someone sets up the stock shots with the new NYC cityscape. A lot of times that's what they use for shots of various cities, canned footage, so they can reduce the cost.
Personally I have issues with most e-books.
While I have never gotten my hands on a true e-book rader, I've read various free ones on my PC... and I can't manage to read much. I hate the acrobat format for one thing. Thing just get too easily mixed up. The flicker gives me a headache.
Finding books in simple TXT format is even better, at least formatting wise.
I like to read.. I mean a good paperback I can read in 2 or 3 hours easily, and start on a new one without trying to deblur my eyes.
It's paper for me. Expensive habbit, and takes up a lot of space, but I'd rather search for a physical book than wonder if I deleated that e-book.

Dual processor machines arn't working in series, they're working in parellel. So, the computeing power is not simply added together.
They do more work faster, but not twice as fast as a normal chip.
It runs, about all I can say... it even runs decent on an underpowered CPU (then again everyother componate is above their specs)
Lag is an issue. I think their netcode needs some tewaking.
Honestly it can't. It can be forgotton. It can be hidden. But once it exists and is spread. It will exist for all time.
Createing something new won't prevent the old from being used, nor will it prevent other countries from having differnt regulations.
And how many terrorists are actually going to listen to the law.
