  1. $20,000 ? Nice try add a zero to get serious on Nintendo Offers Up To $20,000 To Hack the 3DS (silicon.co.uk) · · Score: 1

When a developer finds that kind of bug they have the upper hand, I would add a zero and make it $50,000 - $200,000 and if Nintendo wasn't willing to enter contract to exchange the security research for the money by say 20-30 days I would pull a Google and do a Day-Zero publish on the defect. Then I would rinse and repeat including a contractual boilerplate clause to protect and indemnify and collect my payment in bitcoin. 20K is insulting.

Then my next phone won't be a Samsung. Sure my Sol Republic Track Air's are Bluetooth but I would never wear them while exercising. So now that Apple and Samsung are out of the game, who is next in Line to accept my cash in about a year.

  6. Spoilers -- both consoles fall short of 4k. 4k require's 300% more GPU power to provide 300% more pixels than 1080p. Say goodbye to Anti Aliasing and hello to choppy objects. Spoilers Alert #2 - Max GPU power isn't the golden star selling point it used to be in 2004.

Steam Machines are snowballing, there are ~2k+ games on Steam Machines right now and 1,300 that are hinting at coming (according to SteamDB). Gamers want instant gratification, but I have a hunch Valve knows success is gradual and I see them going Falco Punch style.

Perhaps specific tools and websites that were once cutting edge have gone stale, but seriously - Konqueror? You mean that thing that was replaced by Dolphin? Someone should tell the author there's a reason why X Y and Z tools have not been renovated - usually because there are better options available.

I'm under 30 and I knew what KDE was and is for 16 years now. Sure the internet is polluted with the masses, that's why barriers have been created to keep the masses out of the inner bastion and sanctum. If you want to enter into the old internet go use Arch and 2004 will live forever because the barrier is so high.

  10. Once again Mozilla adds features it will later ax. All that we want is Servo and for the whole thing to run fast. Mozilla is lost. They abandon Thunderbird and create all these moronic features like Hello and even fail to implement Firefox Sync in a sane way until v2.
