Funny, some of us don't have much of an opinion on abortion, think sex education is a great idea, think recreational substances are a bad idea in general but adults should be able to do what they want, think national security is vital no matter what your political leanings are, think pornography is fine IF the actors in it are there consensually, don't care about broadcast indecency, and think that 'marriage' as defined in a church should be done in a church and that everyone who wants legal recognition of his or her relationship should be civil unioned. Liberals, on the other hand, want everyone to be just like them. No dispute, or you're murdered by firing squad - because after all, only the government should have a monopoly on force!

What are the numbers, adjusted for inflation and economic sizes? Is it that companies are paying less (probably) or is it that individuals are wealthier? (I don't know). However by lowering the rates AND removing exceptions, even if a company paid more in actual dollars it might lower their expenses enough to offset the extra cost. What is also interesting though is since fewer Americans pay federal income tax than ever - only 47% pay federal income tax - your statement actually says that relatively wealthy individuals are paying a lot more than ever, which I suspect is something that you would approve of happening, so I'm not exactly sure of your complaints here.

So does television, your family, religion, political campaigns, whatever. The military's goal is defense of the US from attack. If the US was attacked with ICBM weapons the crews of the missile silos, bombers, etc. had a job to do - to deliver devastating weapons to those who attacked the country. I'd say some manipulation would be needed to allow men to deliver payloads of death to others, wouldn't you?
