Let's not even start with the horrible clothes people (in the US anyway) wear whilst flying...basically, unkempt pajamas.
Me? I wear "western dress clothes" - nice jeans, leather blazer, shirt, tie, cowboy hat, boots.;-)
I'm a native born US national and I prefer not to fly either - if I'm inside the 48 continental states, I drive, no matter how far it is.
Of course, the nice thing is I don't fly for work. If I did, I'd find a new job.
Rights are not enumerated. Government restrictions on these rights are enumerated. When the document says "Congress shall make no law" that is NOT saying that you don't (for example) have the right to free speech, which is a natural law, but that the government SHALL NOT infringe on it.
Whenever I hear that US constitutional rights - really limitations on government since rights are natural rights and the constitution exists to limit government intrusion on these rights - do not apply to non US citizens I want to hurl.
Of course, young people are signing petitions saying 'White Christmas' is a racist song, so you cannot say that critical thinking is a strong skill any longer.
An awful lot of 'regulation of technology' is really the State 'regulating its citizens' - that is, by an attempt to restrict good encryption, or encryption without backdoors.
Ask yourself if you trust the same people who are spying on your every communication.
How many nuclear bombs have the Israelis dropped?
How many invasions has the State of Israel conducted? (Hint: I'm not discussing military action after being hit by rockets from somewhere outside their country).
Oh wait! The answer is ZERO!
And without that neighbor fighting for its independence, you may never have gotten yours.
Would you want all the commonwealth to look like Ireland did in the 19th century?
I guess the Canadians, who had their constitution patriated nearly 20 years ago, would be shocked to find out they aren't independent. I don't know about Australia.
I want to live amongst an educated populace too. Unfortunately, that is no longer true of so-called 'college graduates' who cannot read, cannot write, cannot cipher.
I'd claim we're pretty much already there.
When I was a kid - 1970s - for those of us who were poor, like my family, there was KMart. KMart was the place that people who were not well off shopped. KMart, then, was like Target, now, where the relatively affluent people shop.
As for 'nice' shops from the time - there aren't any.
But, as GE found with its water heaters and dishwashers, if you do not build them, you also do not design them - the designing is done near where they are built.
Nobody says the work'll be done in the USA or Europe. It won't. This is an attempt to grow the next offshoring destinations, now that India is getting expensive.
No, it was because you were a middle aged white male. We're on the target list.

You can prevent people from entering your country - it is called border controls. It is not unconsitutional.

Um, this is true almost everywhere.
It's probably pot. Washington (state) toked up long before they made it legal.
Hear, hear! You said it, brother.
SO as a liberal you are saying that you should use regulatory might to destroy industries you don't like.

That's what I thought too. In the event of an all out nuclear war total destruction of the enemy is implicit.

Well if it is fresh water it might be tasty. Who is bringing the biscuits?

This is slashdot - the antiprepper site.
Draw the conclusion. They want the nation to be attacked and destroyed or at least heavily damaged.

How much of what we the people want gets done by lawmakers who only do what they want? Is it any different? Not that I see.
Except really you need to eliminate soy because it has other undesirable effects.
Well it seems to me that Hitler was a vegetarian...
