    Personal data, which includes your phonebook, location, and every picture message etc. should not be collected period. Just the fact they can essentially listen in on your calls is reprehensible. The fbi is simply using this as an excuse to force a backdoor. Whatever is on that phone is not going to save the world or any other goddamn thing. Regardless, encryption will always win as security is more important than the govt trying to control everything. Fuck em. I'd tell em to shove that phone up their ass.

    I've never had the choice of cox. No pun intended. I have always used either the local dsl, twc, or now, att fios. I've downloaded terabytes through twc with no worries, albeit with blocklists. Almost the moment I started using fios, att sent me a letter in regards to illegal download of some pos garbage movie. I turned on forced encryption through my client and haven't heard a word since. I stopped using blocklists altogether prior to that as a protest against the tyrrany.

    I run Fennec on my droid so don't gas about the ff version too much. FF portable and PM portable as well as Torbrowser on my tablet and desktop. FF is so locked down I have to revert to PM sometimes just to load a page, incl. youtube. Thankfully on droid you can use newpipe instead of that pos ap youtube is.

    For all the hate about ff, I think it's unfounded. There is no such thing as secure browsing unless you boot up tails 2.0. Users of any browser have to be smart and take steps to "be secure". I find it hilarious people consider chrome secure with google basically sitting on your fucking shoulder the whole time. It's like using an iphone with safari and telling everyone you browse privately and securely. Load of crap.

    From a long term perspective this makes sense. However I think that taking into acct. the actual sun's angle to said roads would have to be an included factor for every panel so as to get the most energy.

    It's missing gps, like most all laptops & netbooks and to have it be preconfigured with windows 10 is a no go straight up. My R12 has a 'ublock' gps/sim chipset and I doubt, I could be wrong though, that it would work with a linux distro. The price is nice though but no gps makes it useless.

    Exactomundo. Some bs random course in nobody gaf is not going to light fires. I have always loved math and science and it wouldn't even be too difficult to create classrooms that are excited and which give immediate rise to higher learning. The education system is a broken disjointed blackbox more suited on many occasions to babysitting. In one ear, out the other.

    I took a beginning course in computers and was so disgusted by what was actually taught versus what I knew I would owe at the end of the course, I canceled it after 2 months. Learning how to use MS Office is not my idea of ANY course in "computing". Look, now you can do a presentation. Gee that's neato. Hardly what cs is about.

    Why not allocate the lottery money to schools as it was promised? After 20+ yrs of the lottery, every classroom in every school in, at least CA, could have not only it's own server, but a plethora of devices to teach with. If even a fraction of the money promised had went to the kids, maybe the rampant facebook/gaming mentality could have been overshadowed by real accomplishments instead of what we get now...pay to play, and that's it.

    Upon reading about 20 posts it seems clear the real reason to push this ridiculous cs mandate is to simply reduce (try to flood) america with non competent programmers. This will of course make the off shoring of jobs seem like natural selection instead of the greedy backstabbing move it is now. It is the same as forcing millions upon millions of illegal immigrants into our economy and then telling everyone how hard it is to enforce the laws which are designed to prevent just that. Obama is a lying pos backstabbing traitor who should be shot on sight.
