Couple of good invasions ought to thin out the 200 million herd.
Actually, what's going to make it even worse is a very large number of the "single child policy" kids aren't wanting to have any childern (mainly because they are spoiled brats), or if they do have childern, they'll only have one (because they -- and most other people around them --have no idea how to care for qty > 2)
Funniest line about that: (paraphrased from memory)
Peter: Damn, we got cancelled by FOX! Lois: So what does that mean? Peter: Well, that means that if (rambling list of 50 or so fox shows that have been canned) all fail, we'll get to be back on the air!
You nailed it right on the head. I didn't buy into King's "gotta pay the paperboy" analogy, but I did purchase the damn texts just to see what would happen. (which was wasting $$$ to get 1/3 of a half-assed story)
Now, you can backup your data with backup exec BEFORE symantec's antivirus misses a big virus (cough cough spybot cough cough) that trashes your hard drive!
There's a huge problem that everyone seems to forget with magical RAID setups.
RAID only protects you against hardware failure, not logical drive failures. I've had quite a few RAID5 arrays become...redundant but useless...crashing down due to logical errors on the partition created by the wonderful OS.
It is, however, FDIC "pass-through" insured. (i.e. the bank that actually holds the funds is FDIC insured, so if paypal folds, your money is still held in a FDIC insured account and would be eligible to be covered by FDIC insurance.
Tried to open a bank account or credit card account lately? EVERY financial transaction now requires sigining an arbitration agreement that signs away your right to jury trial, or any kind of judical review.
No doubt. Especially for local laws that aren't published *anywhere* public, except for a locked file cabinet in the bottom of a basement in the courthouse, with a sign next to them saying "Beware the lepoard."
So say you move to a new town, how are you supposed to know about all of the special "ordinances" that have been passed for your jurisdiction? You sure as hell don't get that as part of your welcome packet?

Check your local big lots or odd lots store and see if they have any "Radio Shack Picture Frames" left. 9.99 and they hold SD or MMC. 3.5 inch backlit screen with automatic slideshow function.
Ford and GM's sales are just fine. They're just getting put to junk bond status due to the large amount of pension and healthcare they're having to provide to their workers, retirees, and their dependents.

Yeah, but would you want to be named after a crappy financial software company?
This is a marriage made in heaven!

Why don't we (as techies) get off our asses and force everyone to use authenticated SMTP?
Then spam would drop, and rather quickly.

Modify the setupp.ini (in i386 folder on any XP CD) file to accept OEM keys, then you can install it from the fresh copy of XP home.
However, beware of HPs, even after you change the strings in setupp.ini it still won't work. You'll need to clone the "ExtraData" settings.
What the hell difference does it make anyway?

Ha. Second life has nothing to this game. Seriously. It's the first game where the first day I play I get anally attacked multiple times.

Or, completely removing scenes from cartoons.
(Ever seen the bugs bunny cartoon where the fish jumps out of the water, pulls a gun on himself and kills himself?)
Well, at least if you lost the case, you could still wipe your ass with his "intellectual property"
So you'll give up the only option that you have to fight this stupidity?
Yeah, but upgrading in preparation for doom 3 made HL2 run soooo much better :)

Ha ha ha.
I would have sent them the oldest AIX box I could have found. Something around 200Mhz with an old 2GB Hard drive
The reason for this limtation is RACF on most IBM mainframe systems won't allow a longer than 8 character password.
Ahem!
Giving away is not $79 per seat.
