    Couple of good invasions ought to thin out the 200 million herd.

    Actually, what's going to make it even worse is a very large number of the "single child policy" kids aren't wanting to have any childern (mainly because they are spoiled brats), or if they do have childern, they'll only have one (because they -- and most other people around them --have no idea how to care for qty > 2)

    There's a huge problem that everyone seems to forget with magical RAID setups.

    RAID only protects you against hardware failure, not logical drive failures. I've had quite a few RAID5 arrays become...redundant but useless...crashing down due to logical errors on the partition created by the wonderful OS.

    It is, however, FDIC "pass-through" insured.
    (i.e. the bank that actually holds the funds is FDIC insured, so if paypal folds, your money is still held in a FDIC insured account and would be eligible to be covered by FDIC insurance.

    Modify the setupp.ini (in i386 folder on any XP CD) file to accept OEM keys, then you can install it from the fresh copy of XP home.

    However, beware of HPs, even after you change the strings in setupp.ini it still won't work. You'll need to clone the "ExtraData" settings.

    Tried to open a bank account or credit card account lately? EVERY financial transaction now requires sigining an arbitration agreement that signs away your right to jury trial, or any kind of judical review.

    No doubt. Especially for local laws that aren't published *anywhere* public, except for a locked file cabinet in the bottom of a basement in the courthouse, with a sign next to them saying "Beware the lepoard."

    So say you move to a new town, how are you supposed to know about all of the special "ordinances" that have been passed for your jurisdiction? You sure as hell don't get that as part of your welcome packet?
