If all these companies actually give a crap about our bodies and our health, why do the price everything so damn high nobody but the 'eleet' can buy them? 400 for a keyboard? What kinda CRACK are you smoking???
I did shell out for an MS elite (when they still cost like 80 bux) but that's as far as I can EVER see going. True now, you do get what you pay for (the MS kb and the el cheapo copy, look at the construction of the space key) but please!!!
...... 400... mumble... shi... mumble... hrmf...
Wasn't this on the GNOME news site a long time ago

I remember talking about this out at Linux World Expo w/ some GNOME people.
This isn't news?
I think the armada of trained mammles (damn spelling) need some time off to catch up to the news they have missed... hmm?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong... but I'm sure this was in the GNOME news.
Letter to the Community on Andover/VA Merger For CHRISTS SAKES!! AGAIN I remind you big-headed average Joes that it was NOT a merger but a freaking buy out. This is pretty sad when/. belives their own press. I'm saddened to even think they could assume so much power over the rest of the world. This is rather sad...
They SHOULD HAVE just contacted eToy and asked them to put a link on their site for mistakes. I've seen that a few times. That would make to much sense though I guess...
You know, CNet was great when it was the 'cool' thing. I think they are finaly getting thrown out on their cabose's and they need somewhere to go. Get ready Linux users, another bandwagon jumper is walking this way. Personal opionion of the review aside, they suck.
The setup of my PC @ home is: ATI All-in-Wonder128, DVD drive, Sigma DVD card, 5.1 decoder, SBLive.
I use the system both on the monitor AND the TV, in windows we watch DVDs on the TV, browse the web, listen to MP3z with the killer plugins, etc.. In Linux _I_ use the box on the monitor. No matter what, Linux is STILL being pushed aside. ATI users only got TV support in Linux in these last few months (GATOS Rocks!)
No DVD in Linux beacuse the DVD Natzis won't make it so... I would buy, support, build, sell ANY linux-based "convergence" item just based on the fact that I know it'll WORK. We have TV, get on with the rest of "your" "convergence" would you!!!
Please, DVD RAM doesn't even know if it's going to stay around... I would assume so. Prices are still high and the 2 big boys are still fighting over who's format to use.
I'd just like to WATCH a DVD in linux let alone write to one. I STILL have to boot to Win (ugh) to watch a DVD with my SBLive.
Damn I wish I could code better, at least I can beta damn well...
I've got an E-Smith server sitting in my Comm. closet at the house and I really just have to GUESS when it needs something. No kbd, mouse, screen... just a box.
What about serial communication via linux terminal (I forget what it's called) isn't that compileable into the kernel?
Gimmie those Sardines! (How the hell do you spell that anyway!?!)
Anyway... My highest offer:
My old Intellevision, Vic20, some game carts. for the Vic, a matching set of priceless (really) AMI bios (odd and even) circa. 1985, 1 inflatable computer from a trade show (slightly deflated), what's left of my sub from lunch, (rifling through my pockets) a paperclip and a dead StarTac battery. THERE! HA!

Uh, even though the /. crew cannot seem to get this through there heads;
/.
Andover did NOT MERGE with VA. VA BOUGHT Andover.
Maybe they think they are actually the end-all of geek news. Damn, I know at least 10 SysAdmins that don't read
Please, deflate your heads and hit the floor running...
Hey Woz, I've always wanted to ask you, what's with all those Macs under your harth (as viewed from the WOZCam)??

I love buisness trips to CA, they have the best SanRio stores!
LONG LIVE BADTZ! LONG LIVE HANNA! LONG LIVE THE ORIGINAL SPACE WARRIOR!!!!!!!!
I'd just like to have a newer *WORKING* rvplayer man... screw their forte into MP3... they need to get what they've got working first!
