I'm working on an embedded PowerPC 603e and was able to find some descent documentation on the 32-bit PowerPC instruction set in general from Motorola's home page. I know you said you checked there, but I had a difficult time tracking it down myself. So in case you missed it, the name of the document is PowerPC Microprocessor Family: The Programming Environments for 32-Bit Microprocessors. I ordered a printed copy from their literature center, and a week later I got a nice little green book that has already proven to be indespensable.
I've only seen the film once and it happened so quick that I almost missed it. There's a scene towards the end in Boo's bedroom when James is handing Boo various toys to make her stop crying. I thought I saw him hand her a Woody doll from Toy Story. Anyone else catch that?
As a show of support, I've modified my copy of Winamp to query freedb instead of CDDB. (I'm not sure if the Linux players query CDDB or not... haven't ventured that far into Linux yet.)
Here's how:
Open the Winamp Preferences window and look under input plug-ins for "Nullsoft CD/LineIn plug-in." Select that item and click Configure. A window will pop up entitled "CD playback settings." Change the value in the CDDB server field to read as follows:
freedb.freedb.org:8880
And of course make sure the "Use CDDB" option is checkmarked.
I encourage all Winamp users who support freedb to do this.
I remember visiting that exact same web site about three years ago. As nonsensical as that obscenity disclamier may be, it's not really news anymore. Bell Labs is just covering their butts.
What I'm curious to know is how much their Text-to-Speech synthesis has improved in the past few years. Heck, even the local Weather Channel has more realistic synthesis than this.
> They're never going to make another Defender machine.
Never say never...

This reminds me a one of those Simpsons episodes where the school kids are all forced to watch some horrible propaganda video hosted by Troy McClure.
