    if you have an NMB power supply, it is a ticking time bomb... oh, and if you have other systems plugged into the same surge protector that doesn't have filtering between the outlets, all the other computers will be fried too. that is $2500 of experience for free.

    seems like the regex is flawed to me...

    would evaluation become reviewuation... probably not. i think they need a special case when there isn't a whitespace character in the front of eval.

    hotmail has this problem too, but they just try to stop all of the ways a script could start... the problem though: IE is so fux0ered up that you can sometimes create iframes in malformed tags, and then just run the script in the iframe.

    yahoo must have the same problems.

    there will always be a kernel in development and one being stabalized.... its a wash either way.

    i would recommend the stabalization of 2.6 before the branch of 2.7 (the initial arguement) and i think the flip side is incorrect... just because 2.7 is 'in the works' doesn't mean that the 2.6 hackers are going to take a nap on their work

    ok... so for 'security' reasons, the credit card processing system is seperate from the web server... the cart software requests the user information from the credit card processing system, and gives it somesort of ID... the credit card processing system didn't properly lock out race conditions and sent the info to the wrong requesting cart.

    so my reply is simply: bullshit.

    this was caused by an overloaded server, with poor coding that allowed for race conditions.

    hell, i didn't even read the editor's comment about the article.

    simple answer: NO.

    a TV is not a business tool... we accept the commercial breaks because we are using the TV as a leisure device. the second ANYTHING gets in my way from doing my work, i get it off my computer.

    i'm assuming an ad-supported OS would make that difficult.
