You do realize that nobody gives a fuck, right? Nobody reading this site gives a shit about your hobbies or anything else about you. You're just some lame cockguzzling fuckstick for all anyone here cares. So shut the fuck up. I claim your first post for myself. Fuck off.

Does this mean we can expect database crashes every couple of days like on Slashdot? I sure as hell don't trust a shitty operating system written by a bunch of unhygienic GNU hippies with my investments, nor would I trust them with my company's stock if I were listed. Just another reason for companies to go to the (far superior) NASDAQ. This is another nail in the coffin for the big board.

You can't raise taxes to fund these hirings, at least not as much as would be necessary. You'd also have to train the teachers. If you really want to teach better science or anything to better meet needs in life, the funding has to come from industry. This is somewhat the intent of charter schools, yet they are being met with resistance, especially from the current education system. There are some drawbacks of charter schools, such as would you see as high level of education or would it be about meeting the bottom line and impressing investors? Would you see attempts to drag out every bit of money as possible from the schools? Would this involve cutting corners and reducing quality, or could we see classrooms filled with advertising? As much as these possible aspects of charter schools bother me, if industry expects something better, it is in a place to fund it rather than asking more from taxpayers, and charter schools are an attempt to do this.

You are the perfect example of an open source zealot that can't see past their own lies to see the way stuff really is. Nowhere on the story does it say that Microsoft couldn't keep up with the patches. You're making stuff up to support your case, and it's exactly the campaign of slander I'm speaking of. Either post links to support that they couldn't keep up with the patches or shut up and stop with the crap. You've responded to nearly everything in this thread and while you might be right about some stuff, you're inventing things to support your case and yet we accuse Microsoft of lies. Get a clue.

Well, I agree with you, but you should add something to that. Too often MS is accused of propaganda against open source, against the GPL, and against linux. It's so easy to point out the vulnerabilities in MS products and they exist and are quite common, but it also needs to be said that there are patches for them and most of the problems come from users and admins that don't know enough to patch stuff. Why is this? Because MS designs their products to be user-friendly, intuitive, and very easy to use. They're marketing to newbies too, something that Microsoft beats linux on any day. Nobody really can argue that linux is simpler than Windows for an inexperienced user. Sure, the vulnerabilities are more exploited in Microsoft products, but they're not the only products with problems. Seems like the slander Microsoft is accused of, the open source community is running a campaign of slander right back at them. Does the word 'hypocrite' come to mind?
