Exactly. And in the greater scheme of things tablets are only (so far) a blip on the PC technology radar. Until they've been out for more than a couple years we probably won't know how all users will end up utilizing them...
This is true and is the trend that PC users have followed since the PC's inception. No one who once had the freedom to control their environemnt will want to run head first into a walled garden without a very good reason (no other options, killer app only available there, etc)
My slackware 12.0 box spiked the CPU at midnight GMT also... perhaps it is not the distrobution but a commonly run application which is causing the crash.. I'm only running an ircd and ejabberd on this server outside of the normal slack 12.0 service though
I run Exchange 2003 SP2 with IMFv2.0 built in and I have not seen a spam in weeks. I also run the Antigen counterpart for Spam and Anti Virus. The majority of emails is caught by IMF though. He has done THAT much. And I am very happy with the results.
The Russians had plans to launch ICBMs at stratigic points along the Mississippi river thus destroying all of our agriculture infrastructure. We wouldn't be able to fight a very successful war without food I imagine...
They provided evidence in a list of successful judges. You have no evidence to support your opinion. Therefore, you lose.
You could try citing supreme court judges without experience that have failed miserably. But then others could also post lists of supreme court judges who have failed miserably as well. And my guess is theres a lot more of those.
The rules of business apply even to monopolies. MS, as people have seen, is starting to become stagnant in the areas of innovation and they've been slowly losing talent to competitors like google. There is dissention in the MS community and everyone knows it. The rules of the market apply to even monopolies.
I bet the only reason MS is doing this is because they fully expect Google to go the same direction. Competition isn't a bad thing people. And this proves yet again that the market, given enough time, will correct itself in the end.
Why is it always the **AA that people bring up whenever IP infringment is mentioned. I work for a major automotive supplier and it's widely known that any other supplier who ever wants to get work done in China has to expect the Chinese will copy all of their intellectual property before the product comes back.
The Chinese are not just interested in copying the product... They're more interesting in copying the tools used to make the products. Granted this is the fault of the companies for sending their shit over there to get made anyway, but it happens all the time. I'm not saying a decree like this will solve anything, but if it lets people know about how badly US companies are getting screwed when they send stuff over to get made than who really cares whether it works or not?
All anyone can really do is spread the word and let the companies know that when they send over their stuff to get made, that they're losing their products, and all the histories of their products, in the end.
I live in the US (Michigan) and have a Toto e200

At times like this it is best to remember the good contributions from a man who provided so much to our industry. Thank you Steve wherever you are now

"But then others could also post lists of supreme court judges who have failed miserably as well."
meant to say "supreme court judges with judge experience who have faield miserably as well."

There are not many things in between a liberal and a communist...
