    why not have the show download to the TV box? then the people can watch it on local side and all those unicasts will not be a big deal. because they will be dispersed throughout the day... heck, let the people do a Tivo like subscription and then schedule the downloads.

    how did sam bekett have a daughter? the series ended with out him ever returning home... which either meant he was too stupid to figure out how to do it (like they eluded to in the last episode) or he did not want to stop helping people.

    the thing I hated about that show was what they thought 1999 looked like. and everyone back at the lab was so goofy.

    uhh... actually this initiative is to get PRIVATE companies to implement the service. the county will pay for a basic connectivity service and the companies will have premium services that people can subscribe to.

    woot!!! and it is getting good!!! there is a new replicater threat from the carter replicant, and they have been trying to get to Atlantis via asguard hyper-drive...

    I personally think that the hyper-drive ship will get there and save the day next year or so because this year they were stupid and stopped to help some one. won't make that mistake again.

    it would have that many viewers as well. besides, they get all the bleed over from SG-1/SG-A....

    what does enterprise get? a channel devoted to black comedies.... last time I checked, the black community was not huge on sci-fi.

    keyboard shortcuts, built-in bibtex database creator. a sane setup and formating system.... I could go on.

    since they have a large audience now that can take advantage of them maybe LyX will start accelerating development and adding in some nice features that will make document creation much more productive.(integrate a bib database for god sakes!!!)

    I think the name came from the fact that people are 'casting to people who owned MP3 players.

    and since the iPod = MP3 player in popular culture it was called podcasting.

    but to listen you have to be tuned in on heir bandwidth... podcasting has the user download the files and be done till next time... allowing for much greater distribution.
