  1. Logic Pro X and a ton of AU's would do it for me. Photoshop, Lightroom and XCode to complete the picture. I know there are open source alternatives and I occasionally check them out but they don't even come close in terms of features, stability and performance.

    Design patents are real, we have to deal with them. I'm surprised of the constant bickering about this on ./ . Classic industry is using them for decades (easiest example: cars). IT is catching up.

    Doesn't mean I like or endorse the concept of design patents though.

    It only works on Windows guests. Only DirectX is supported, not OpenGL.

    It's open source. I'm sure a project of this magnitude will get lots of looking eyes. Good resource pool for Google to spot talent too.
