They're hopefully going to open source that portion. Hopefully. there is nothing set in stone, but Lisa Su sounded and looked interested in the idea.. Plus they need to get a better leg up on intel anyways. So I will stay optimistic about it.
I vaguely remember seeing that post, and I believe it was on the article here talking about AMD maybe Open Sourcing their version(PSP). But I could be incorrect. Above and beyond that anybody that knows how computers and the internet really works, has known for years(about 11) that AMT was most likely backdoored.
LOL that sounds good. but anybody with money to waste on a few cpu's could RE the thing with the skilled help of others(available on the internet if you know where to look) If I had the money and the will, I guarantee somebody I know would know the proper person to contact to get the information needed to access said backdoor. And obviously somebody has already done this(see article). I fully understand where you're coming from, Intel even went as far as to say it was impossible for somebody to hack. But nothing is impossible to hack given the correct amount of time, and money. That is why we are where we are when it comes to network security, or lack there of. This is why open hardware is a good idea. Same for open software. At least then you hope that the good guys find it before the bad guys, and quicker return time for high level exploits being fixed if the bad guys do find it first. But given Intels past shady practices I personally would not put having a backdoor for governments past them.

There is really no way to get past a HW key logger with software. And if its encrypted, they get not only your physical passwords, but also they keys in memory. Hardware that is not your own is not to be trusted.
That kind of voltage and amperage is very dangerous and not to be trusted to the general public. Picture people that drive off with gas pumps in the filler. you would have catastrophic death involved with that. and fires also.
The liquid is never "used" its depleted of its electrolytes, in a chemical process that creates electricity. when all the electrolytes are used its "dead" and the liquid is swapped with new liquid that contains electrolytes. while the liquid that was extracted gets charged with electrolytes in some process(I didn't RTFA so I don't know what that is).
They would have to make it almost indestructible for somebody your size to use more than a few times. And thats not a poke at your weight(get it?) thats just honesty. My brother is about 300-400 pounds and he annihilates shoes. Hell i go between 190-230 and i can destroy a pair of work boots in months. good ones too.
