I find that the zip file utilities in ME don't work work with.tar files. It looks at them and says 'WTF is this?' and puts the little windows icon with it so you know that it has no idea what to do with it.
How you vote affects how I vote. Please help protect the freedom of American citizens.
This is definatly a way to turn congressional heads. Anybody happen to know if congressional elections are coming up this year or maybe next? Because, as I'm sure everyone knows, the closer it is to election time, the greater impact the word "vote" has on the mind of a congressman.
The Proxomitron actually kills this attempt to launch readme.eml if you have "kill add-on scripts" checked. Never thought that a proxy meant to remove annoying things from web pages would actually stop a worm from trying to run on my computer.
Perhaps we should start a pool of money to give to the power companies in exchange for cutting off the power to these machines for say an hour? I think that will cause those machines to come down for a little bit regardless of any UPS ststem they may have. And since we'd tell the respective companies to do this all at the same time, that will prevent these computers from infecting themselves again.
Of course, the pool will have to be rather large since this would all have to be 'under the table.'
