If you already have one secret vector and the addition vector that goes with it, why would we need to figure out some other devices secrets? Couldn't a device be made that uses the information we already have, that outputs non-HDCP encoded data?
You don't use categories/groups with the median, you just find the middle value in the set. For number of (human) legs I'm fairly certain this is two...
If you click on the links to download NEW MSN 6.0! You can to a page with an entry form. Specifically, this page. No mention of CC# or SS# on this page although I haven't looked closely yet.
I'd have to say that having a long number as a user id is a pretty good deterent to keeping the same login when you reinstall windows. I have at least 3 ICQ accounts but I have no idea what the numbers are anymore...
You can get rakio stations that play what Kierthos in almost any area with a meaningful population, plus get a station or two that play modern rock ('alternative'). If you're in a more urban area then you can get Christian, jazz and possibly others... if the four types of music mentioned is all there is on satellite radio than you're definitely not getting anything new or different.
I find the fact that the fan is often inside the power supply a preety good deterent to replacing it. After all there're plenty of capacitors in a power supply to give a nice welcoming shock...
This will not stop this spam.... the spam is comming from the windows messaging service, something that is found on any NT based windows system. A better alternative would be to stop the service under control panel>administrative tools>services and set the startup to manual or to get a good firewall that blocks everything that you don't need. I suggest kerio or smoothwall.
Windows 2000 can be told to use a single click interface. I think this has been an option since 98, however, I haven't used that for a while. Just open an explorer window and click on folder options under the tools menu.
Regardless of if you've been trolled or not, just because you're in a Windows environment, doesn't mean you have to use IIS. Apache, a well known web server that has had fewer bugs than IIS, has a Windows port. I'm sure there are other servers out there for Windows. Just because you use the OS, doesn't mean you have to use the software too.
Usually the first thing that comes to my mind about unwinnable situations in Ender's Game is when he was faced with two teams with the odds extremely stacked in their favor and he sent a small team with the sole purpose of opening the door before anyone noticed them or the battle was even over.
While the music itself may be commercial, I think the point made was that radio stations that are in it for money suck in general. Most college stations are funded by the university itself and therefore don't need to get money from the labels in exchange for playing certain songs. There is great music out there that doesn't get heard on the radio because the labels won't allow it to be played.
Oops, you missed one of those sites, Go directly to jail, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Ok, so it's the third time that jail becomes a factor, however, this law makes it a large risk to provide internet to the folks in PA now
I may be wrong, but my understanding is that the broadband providers pay for a certain amount of bandwidth, in use or not. Therefore, if they limit the bandwidth users can get when there's a lot of them trying to use it, they'll only have to get enough bandwidth to maintain a minimum (i.e. 100k) for all of their users. During off-peak hours the person downloading ISO's while running Kazaa and Gnutella at the same time can take advantage of the extra bandwidth that's not being used.
Actually, this would not do what the parent intended. The whole point was to have connections from only one application on the host computer. By the time your packets get to safeweb (unless it's dial-up in which case it still doesn't apply) they've already gone through your ISP's computers.
So... you could tell it to use NAT and cause confusion to the cable companies. Could be a bad thing though if they don't actually check your installation for multiple machines. Use at your own risk
The highest physics I ever took was in HS and I know that weight is always a force. It's just normally counteracted by something called a normal force of opposite direction but same magnitude. In the end you end up with a net force of 0. The best argument is not "Force = Weight" but "Weight is a Force"
Perhaps we could have a board of programmers/developers to come up with the list of 'obvious' practices. A smallish group of people should be able to decide on, and maintain a list of common practices that cannot be patented.
Last time I checked it was customary to have actual contact information for your references. A phone number at the least, a physical address at the company if you can get one. He just provides name and position. If I was trying to hire somebody, I wouldn't want to go through the effort of trying to get in contact with references without any information besides name, title and company.

My math says that comes out to "2 k" (assuming ascii characters are used, different character sets I'm sure give different answers)
In my dictionary "verb" is a noun, so I guess you're a project manager too.
Actually on solaris (and possibly other *nix) there is a format command. Although it is much different from the dos command.

Yes, the senoritas would make a great alternative to the senators in congress....

I believe the correct method would be to give them someone else's data, just to make them even more miserable.

How about the problem of having so much money, you don't know what to do with it?

Junkbuster is a program that you run on your own computer, but I guess you didn't bother to find that out, did you?
