Its not like it'll stop working. And nobody says you have to have to have everything in one format.
I have mp3s, AACs, FLACs, and SHNs on my hard drive. I would love iTunes to play the FLACs and SHNs, but I don't fret over it any more than the fact that I can't listen to vinyl records on my walkman.
I don't see why other portable players couldn't play ITMS store music with a firmware update. I'm sure Apple would help 3rd party developers.
Probably not.
"The iPod makes money. The iTunes Music Store doesn't," Apple Senior Vice President Phil Schiller told CNET News.com in an interview Thursday after the launch of the Windows version of the store.
Looks like Apple wants to use iTunes and iTMS to leverage sales of iPods.
I was about 10 when they came out, and my uncle solved it, then taught me how...his best time was around 30 seconds, I could do it in a minute or so...
I actually walked into a friend of mine's kid's room once, about a year or so ago, and in the midst of conversation with my friend and his wife, picked a scrambled cube off a shelf and absent-mindedly solved it...took maybe five minutes...when I set the solved cube back on the shelf, everyone in the room just gasped...no one even realized I was doing any more than figeting...
I used to think I was an audiophile. Not one of the green-marker, $1000 interconnects -type guys, but someone who likes his music to sound good, and was shopping for a mid-range system.
I had settled on a simple Rotel integrated amp and was working on deciding between 3-4 sets of speakers when I stopped at a used record store and spent $150 of the nearly $2000 I had saved for the new stereo on music. Then I realized that the setup I had at home worked just fine, and I bought some more music.
Now, there is a minimum standard of audio quality, but for me, FM and 128-bit mp3 is just fine. I'm not going to enjoy my music any more on an expensive stereo. I don't see how it would be possible
I went ahead and did it, with no problems thus far, except that i still need to upgrade to QT 6.2 and now the server is overloaded. Also, browsing the music store is painful (due to the number of people online, I imagine)
Actually, he said "software base station," which means that dad's Mac is acting as the access point and NAT'ing for Mom's Mac. That's why mom's mac didn't show up on the neighbor's network.
Of course, Dad's Mac is perfectly capable of acting as the firewall in Jaguar, too, so your point about not needing new hardware is correct.
They had a poster of it up in one of the stores and I walked in. I ranted and raved for nearly five minutes before my friends got me calmed down enough to tell me the date.
Actually, I think that there really was a subconcious conspiracy to ruin David Caruso's movie career. People were pissed off that he left NYPD Blue so they didn't go see his movies.
So, everyone - try on a hat! You might like it more than you think, and in todays morgue-cold offices closing off a major source of heat loss will make you warmer than you thought you could be!
There are 43 drivers in each race, and maybe 60 or so with the talent (and money) to try to qualify each weekend. And that ain't many. Baseball has 25 guys on every team. Basketball, 12. Football, 80 or so.
So even if there were a lot of woman or ethnic drivers with the goal of being in Winston Cup (and there are a few), the fact is that one of the 43 guys that are racing right now has to retire or die before there's even going to be a spot to fill.
Then, and only then, does racism and sexism come into play.
You know, not to knock Michigan weather, 'cause I know those lakes can do some wierd stuff, but I have lived in a lot of places, all over the world, and in every one of them, the locals say, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes!" like it's original.
I'm not going to get into whether sharing mp3s should be either illegal or immoral. It's obvious by some people's standard that it is.
That said, it's amazing that a group of people who live their lives by such a strict code of honor (Read it here if you're interested.) think so little about the issue. Computers weren't up to the task of sharing music when I was at USNA, but software piracy was rampant.
I know that I didn't even see the irony in playing my pirated copy of Doom for a few minutes before heading to Smoke Hall to sit on an Honor Board.

Exactly.

I did rummage around a bit to make sure I didn't have one somewhere, though.
They had a poster of it up in one of the stores and I walked in. I ranted and raved for nearly five minutes before my friends got me calmed down enough to tell me the date.
But my high school voc/tech department kicked some pretty serious ass. In western Nebraska, being a good welder is actually prestigous.
I'll tell you one thing, my friends who can weld have jobs right now, and I'm working phone tech support.
Actually, I think that there really was a subconcious conspiracy to ruin David Caruso's movie career. People were pissed off that he left NYPD Blue so they didn't go see his movies.
I watched it like seventeen times, and every time I put it in the store VCR, it rented.
The Usual Suspects. I enjoy it every time I watch it, but not like that first time.
Or, at least there selling it like its available now.

You don't wear hats inside, moron.
I'm not dead yet!
I've done this, as well... :)
Actually, I grew up in Ogallala.
somebody like this, cause obviously my advice to "suck it up" ain't workin'
Michael Schumacher always wins.
I like a dominant champion as much as the next guy, but jeezus.

Well, its on the left, of course.
All right, every place but San Diego.
Why all those apple+key combinations aren't control+key is another question, entirely.

Here is the proper link.
Vague, isn't it?
