you could just tape some tubing onto the glass fish tank and then run it inside your computer and SAY its water cooled, then you'd be really cool and wouldn't have to do anything
all you need now is a webcam and a cheese website dedicated to tropical fish
why in gods name would you install an OS that has preliminary support for a awkward system to run a webbrowser in a graphics enviroment not even designed for the chipset. its christmas people! jesus christ..
planet web is made specifically for the dreamcast and specifically for beginning users that want to use the internet from their tv and dc
am I getting anywhere here?
use the OS and program designed for the proper usage, don't waste your time trying to reinvent the wheel
My experiences with XP are close to perfect. It has yet to bluescreen or take me down to restart because of error (even linux has done that in the past). IE is super fast and works everywhere. The interapplication communication and drag-and-drop are a great timesaver. The only complaint I have is there is no driver written for the Samsung Uproar 64 meg mp3 player/cellphone of mine. Oh well, I just use my laptop... Also, I have yet to find an app that doesn't work with XP that I need...
As far as I am still concerned, Windows still wins in the desktop war.
I couldn't imagine a better idea than to run linux on my devices on a computer running linux. Infact, I have linux running on my sound processing unit which talks to my sound card, which also runs linux, which talks to my computer, which also runs linux. Infact, I dont have a single device that ISN'T based on some form of linux. Wow, the world is such a better place now that I run a seperate OS on everything.
The kernel is CONSTANTLY changing. Programs are CONSTANTLY being updated. I see nothing wrong with upgrades! And this is EXACTLY what is not happening with the ext2 filesystem. Its been static since Linus moved from the minix filesystem. Only now are we seeing meager support for reiserfs, and only because hackers tried to make it better. Blah, Linux just seems like such crap.
That's exactly how the mars lander worked. The wheel design for the mars lander was used because it won the contests of a few others. They had a big competition to see who's vehicle could manuever over large rocks and the design won.
Ok, does anyone else besides me find it disturbing that they are building a $5 billion dollar device to fling dangerous chemicals around at god knows how fast, in the middle of the RING OF FIRE? Jesus, what if an earthquake hit that thing right when they fired and the plant exploded?

and then when you stop using your computer, and then cpu cools off, and then the water cools off, all your fish will die of shock! :D

Alright I'm taking bets on how long till a hack harddisk upgrade is availible:
1 hr after release
1 day after release
2 days after release
The afformentioned distribution is also unaffected by the following other bugs:
Nimda: IIS 5.0 is not installed by default in OpenBSD
Ping of Death: The Microsoft TCP/IP stack is not loaded by default in OpenBSD
Recent Linux Kernel Bug: OpenBSD unfortunately uses the BSD kernel and the Linux kernel is not installed by default in OpenBSD
As you can see, OpenBSD is obviously the superior operating system, for namely, its lack of features.
Thank you.
A subscription service, so, you mean, an opensource company... making money? Blasphemy!
In other news, France surrenders to barrage of location tracking satellites.
Step 1. Buy Handspring Visor or Palm Pilot
Step 2. Download and sync Chessgenius
Step 3. Enjoy

As long as you don't come to my door on a bike with this thing in one hand and Mormon flyers in the other hand, its fine by me.

Then why does a FS from NT4 still work with Windows XP?
Word up to that. NTFS is years ahead of ext2 :P
I like X10 ads! Man those camera chicks are hot!

I can't believe how many people use telemetry.. I mean.. seriously.. does anyone really know what it means? (Yes, I'm sarcastically asking what telemetry is.)
©o,,o©©o,,o©©©o,
Sorry, this idea has already been patented by first right by the developers of Sim City 2000. (tm)
