    So in this case they should instead build a 20 storey tall pinball machine. It would be fun to play and just think of all the advancements that could be made figuring out how to propel a huge steel ball around.

  2. World class athletes have lots of different opportunities to compete. The Olympics are kind of a showcase for random sports, as well as an opportunity to represent your country (whatever that means), but I bet it is not considered the end-all event in most sports. Maybe moms are like "play your stupid pinball at the Olympics and then I'll watch."

    ST: TMP Enterprise looks REAL! The scene is so long... But even when you are aware of slow pacing it still helps to build the awe. Kind of like how you can't skip to the really exciting part of a long piece of music and get the same effect.
