as much as I agree with you, this would be impossible. Telling the world to not use microsoft products or something like that is unthinkable. Its almost to the point where you'd be better off telling people to not drive cars anymore.

I like to think about it as a line from a song by papa roach "...The things you own, own you..."

as much as this comment will be flammed, I took your comment, becasue you seem like the most anti-microsoft person who posted. Why all the bashing of microsoft? I dont understand it. Because you all use Linux and shit like that, you seem to think its better than windows. I GAURENTEE that your boxes crash more than mine does (never). Why write lines of code for linux to fix them, when they are already fixed in windows? Sure, there are a lotta shitty things with windows, bugs, security holes, bla bla bla. Linux has the same stuff... difference? You can fix them in Linux, right? cuz its "open source" big fuckin deal. You cannot deny the sheer usability of windows. how easy it is to install, to use, to get up and running with little problem at all. How long would it take to get linux going on a standard pc? DAYS. (i know, my friend bitches to me all the time about it). You say that you pay for microsoft shit..... WHO PAYS?. Everybody always knows somebody else who has a copy of win 98 SE or something like that. you can get whatever you want for free... even linux. but i choose the easier, more hassle free way. Thank you (i apologize for my rant, moderate me accordingly)

If people didn't borrow money, families wouldn't be able to afford homes, cars, college educations, everything. Not everybody is a computer nerd who sits in front of a computer every day, not caring about their surroundings or the such. Most people properly budget their money or we would find a lot of people in large ammounts of debt. The tech industry is going a little south right now, so a few people are out of work. It does not surprise me that a few of them have hit hard times, what do you expect? This is just an extension of the "dot.com" craze, and its participants getting what they desreved. I apologize for my rant. Have a good day

I think your information is biased or just plain stupid. The logic of somebody with a PHD making less money than somebody with just a high school education makes no sense at all. We fail to take into account the type of work the people do also. Somebody with a high school education will most likely slave away in shop for 20 years of his life. Someone with a PHD earns his money with his brain, not his muscles.

you may feel more self worth by getting four years of real world experience, but that wont cut it. I gaurentee if me and you were battling it out for a job, I would win. Looking at my resume you see a degree from a respectable university. Yours has nothing, except your real world experience, which you have no way in proving. I however proved my self worth to the company by showing them my degree. School is why people off the street aren't doctors and lawyers. In most cases you have to know things to get a job. Unless you work at McDonalds.

I agree that this will not solve any energy problem at all, but maybe vehicles that have any combination of this and gasoline, it sure can't hurt. I would more rather throw my table scraps in my "second gas tank" and know that i went that much farther without buying gas.

thats anybody you know, when you look at national averages, people with more education get better jobs. Who would you hire for a job? Somebody who just graduated high school (education in america sucks ass) or somebody who gives a shit, went to school for four more years and specializes in a trade. I think the choice is obvious.
