Wow it seems like whenever there is a good story not on cnet.com only the first 3 people can get to it. It takes 5 people to make a conspiracy: slashdot, osdn, the site that gets ./ed, me, and you. There is only one solution, well besides everyone upgrading hardware/bandwidth incase they get slashdoted, and thats to get even. What goes around comes around, so we should all slashdot slashdot. So everyone follow this link check out this awesome story online at http://www.slashdot.org !!!!!!

I think you are wrong about the part-time experience. At 16 i worked the entire summer - usually a 50 hour week - at Lucent Technologies. I was a big part of the offices IT crew, which DID work with keeping up fiber backbones, etc. Now i work Part time keeping up a small network at a small business. They have 14 buildings with fiber there. I consider all of this experience, regarless of my age it is real life experience. It would be the same experience to someone who is 16 or someone who is 36.

it seems like the solution to piracy is to make it not play in your computer. but then it doesnt play in dvd players and mp3/cd players. so i think companies that make these products should also be complaining. and are these cds red book standard?

governments all over are using this as a blank check. In a chicago suburb (Oak Lawn) there have been many peacful rallies. and now the village has delivered memos to all schools and public places that peaceful and unpeaceful assembly is illegal. i called them up and they said to write a letter and hung up.
