    Yes, Same problem.

  2. Do what 50 Cent did. on Time to Face the Music · · Score: 2, Interesting

50 cent had "highest-selling first album on a major label since Nielsen SoundScan began tabulating record sales in 1991, selling nearly 900,000 copies in the week following its February release" and basically he did 3 things.

    1. Get famous first (create buzz with mixtapes or giving it out free on net)
    2. Put a performance DVD in the package(just some handicam stuff, fan's dont care its "free")
    3. Put out the CD before the bootleg (he actually released it early for this reason

"its chief technology officer, Drew Spencer, and chief legal counsel, Harrison Colter, have left the company"

Is this a rats jumping a sinking ship or somehow just bad timing?

  5. Did anybody notice that... on The Stallman Factor · · Score: 1

Debain is a major distro that keeps pretty strictly to that naming convention (ie Debian GNU/Linux) at least for its official docs and you hardly notice it. And as I recall when they adopted the official name there wasn't *that* much contraversy either.

I usually think of GNU/Linux as the official name and people call it linux for short. But either way I cant see all this fuss making any sense

HP iPAQ? but that doesn't even rhyme!

    How about HP hPAQ or
HP iHP (ok thats a stretch)

But then again this is advice going to people who came up with such clever monikers as 'deskjet' and 'Pavillion' maybe this'll grow on me...

Criswell believes lunar solar panels are more practical since they wouldn't be adding to the already accumulating level of debris in space.
And besides with the international coalition he says this'll take.. how would we decide who's trash day it was?

Actually from what I could tell from their web page the packaging system is based on Caldera so that means no .debs but cal's rpm's should work.

As an aside it is actually quite hard to find info on the packaging system on their website which is the heart of most distos. ie. I was browsing looking for questions like how often their central packages are updated ie is it like Potato/Woody/Sid ? or like windows.. buy it once wait a couple years and upgrade. Good Question I think!
