    Please remember that Newton had lengthy periods of what can charitably be described as "screaming nervous breakdowns". He spent far too long losing himself in alchemy and frantic attempts to interpret the book of revalations etc.

    There is already some controversy about this as any concept of targets (e.g. significant, measurable improvements by 2020) were removed from the white paper at the last minute (by the govt) - this is regarded as something of a let down by the sustainable energy people. No measurables in this proposoal will make apportioning of funding for any potential scheme much more difficult - it is a definite watering down of the whole concept.

    First stop for a total newbie is download an early kernel (try 0.01!): _much_ less intimidating than the current monster. This should help start you in the right direction. KernelNewbies channel and site are both useful
