  1. It's Python, you insensitive clod!

  2. At least it doesn't use BASIC syntax. Or Coffeescript. Christ what a nightmare that was, it's more of a write-only language than Perl is. The combination of optional parentheses with frequent multi-line method invocations topped off with a Python-wannabe indentation scheme. You'd be better off compiling it to JS and working from that instead.

It's a database, it doesn't have an optimized compiler and I wouldn't trust some fancy toolchain to optimize the schemata while maintaining data integrity at whatever level is necessary for the application. Hell, you can't always trust the query optimizer to come up with a sensible plan to just access the data without babysitting it, let alone some automated tool that tries to design your database for you. Fuck that, I've seen the sorts of retarded shit devs do to databases, it isn't pretty.

It's called Cyanogenmod, you should check it out sometime. Unfortunately, the handset makers and phone companies are allowed to lock down devices such that once they're done with the device, so are you.

If it was impossible to update the OS on your laptop or to install a different OS people it would be a complete shitstorm, but on a phone? Pfft, it's fine. Only weirdos and hackers want to install a custom ROM. Besides, you'll just get a new one next year! Oh what's that you say, Google has a proven track record of bungling updates to their flagship OS, removing features from things for no apparent reason and is otherwise acting capriciously and with no regard for their users wishes? Whatever man, did you see those sick new messenger apps? So sleek and smooth and bright and colorful and Duarte is a fuckin genius man, a fuckin genius. We've needed more messenger apps for a long time now, the existing ones were working way too good. Not to mention all those scary options and stuff, fuck, if you touch those you probably hack the CIA and shit. Freak.

I mean, if you're gonna shitpost about the Left, at least make it relevant to the CURRENT_YEAR.

Breaking news: Due to concerns of racism, fourteen top research universities in the United States and Europe have banned the term "Dark Matter" stating that "it denigrates minorities as it equates darkness with being unobserved and unnoticed while at the same time making up most of the universe. The current discourse serves only to entrench White Supremacy and White Privilege, it has to be stopped." They have recommended that scientists instead use the term "Matter of Darkness" and that the scientific literature stop preferring so called "ordinary matter" over "Matter of Darkness".

They also recommend that instead of forcing matter into 'baryonic' and 'non-baryonic', which they allege are social constructs, that matter be allowed to form it's own identity free from the Cis white heterosexual orthodoxy.

"This move isn't anti-science in any way", writes prominent Feminist scholar and advocate Anita Sarkeesian, "this is about equality for all matter, not just Matter of Darkness. Why is one form of matter preferred over another, if not because of the patriarchy?"

Despite the reservations held by those in the scientific community, the universities are standing firm and have stated their intentions to withhold funding for researchers who refuse to abide by the new guidelines.

Meanwhile Twitter has been abuzz with hashtags both promoting the move such as #NonBaryonicLeptonsMatter and #YesAllWIMPS. On the other side, right wing trolls have started their own hashtag, #AllMatterMatters, and have even coined a term for those fighting for inclusiveness and fairness in the scientific literature: Matter Rights Activists, or MRA for short.
