    and even *if* the earth is warming, who are we to say that "right here and right now" is the "right" temperature for the earth?

    The only measurable data that we have only goes back about 150 years, and even then its been manipulated as exposed by climategate. Temperature probes placed by asphault parking lots or by air conditioner vents have been scewing the data for years.

    doesn't matter... if someone that is under aged sneaks into a 21+ venue, then it "picked up" by another person, the other person is now guilty of statutory rape, even though the under aged person shouldn't have been there in the first place.

    The "science" is that the climate changes... naturally. We used to have mammals & vegetation in northern Siberia (found mammoths with green vegetation in their stomachs), and ice flows in Texas. There is no denying it, so the Planet has been both a lot colder and a lot warmer than it is now... long before Man.

    you are close, but not quite there. The days of Freedom are finally ending... the Gov't is intruding into every aspect of our lives, telling us what we should eat, what we should drive, cameras are popping up everywhere, and we allowed them to do it to us.

    If you think it was inadvertent then you are fooling yourself. as for rating, I agree that gives the parents control, but how do you punish someone for breaking the rating system rules?

    There are too many people who shouldnt be in college, too many people in debt to a college that they shouldnt have gone too, which results in too many students defaulting on said loans. The higher the risk the higher the interest rate.

    while education is a good thing, we have too many college grads who took "liberal arts", didnt learn anything (but have a nice piece of paper), and are working the drive thru at McDonalds.

    We need to build up the vocational system, teach students useable skills (would help if they did some of that durring the K-12 years), which would make for a more productive workforce.
