there are very few artists I will blindly go out and purchase a CD from. Thanks to "pirates" I can now listen to the whole CD in the comfort of my own home without haveing to be distracted. Thanks to RIAA, BMG and others like them I will no longer purchase any CDs
after finding Thea von Harbou's Metropolis at www.blackmask.com, I go there first when looking for an ebook, especially since they have them in e-silo format (Palm). IF they dont have what Im looking for I go by Project Gutenberg...
If he's talking about theateres, he may have a point, but certain films wanting 110% of the boxoffice for the first 3 weeks of the film does as much damage... (I believe that was the case for StarWars episode 1)

school children are failing at the basics, I say we are spending to much money on computers/software.
a local store did the same thing about 3 years ago, they broke within the first 6 months and were not replaced.
you know what? schools and libraries dont carry "Jugs" magazine, so why should they allow porno to be displayed on the machines?

I did say filling the airwaves, I know where to look, going to two concerts this month, both artists that are not known on a national level.
the music died a few years back anyway, all we have now is non-talented crap filling the airwaves.... no great loss
