I followed their link, "resurrected" only three of my many tunes (that was the limit), and then got a followup e-mail asking me to test-listen their conversion to RealMedia! No thanks. Leave 'em off there if they're not in mp3 format. Real is a tool of Satan and all Beelzebublicans.
Their job is to oversee you and make sure you're doing a good job for the company.
Or, as I've experienced it, it's their job to blow their boss, say "yes" to everything and point the finger of blame towards anyone who doesn't acknowledge that THIS is the way things OUGHT to be DONE!
If a person knew of a multi-billion dollar company making hundreds, or perhaps thousands of clear, willful IP rights infringements, how would that person go about presenting these concerns to the copyright holder? I ask this in relation to qui tam cases -- is there any such financial consideration given to the whistleblower in cases where U.S. Government funds are not involved (although the company DOES receive federal money, as most multibillion$ companies do), or is it "merely one's civic duty" to report this type of abuse?
... does Avery Brooks have all the melodramatic ham quality that Shatner once possessed? He's more an action hero than any of the other captains. Let him loose on a grand 3-hr. Trek, I say. Get Peter Jackson to direct.
The music industry now is suffering nine, ten, fifteen percent losses in revenue. When you compound that over the next three or four years, the music industry is dead. I don't see a future for it. After awhile, who's going to produce it?
Hopefully people who love music more than they love money and fluffers.
... watch WTBS or TNT versions of movies, because they'll be virtually devoid of offensive language (nevermind the fact that the dubbed substitutions are hilarious unto themselves). I don't see how this could be any different, or why The Machine should have any qualms about it. They're sure to make more money from additional sales...
... unless they're by an indy. Fuck the Big Five... fuck 'em where they breathe. I'll not buy anymore of their crap, ever. May they die out early, and often.
I wish I were geek enough to count, but seriously, folks...
I had the summer off, and decided to set up an 802.11b net in my house as a project. It was swimmingly simple. Today, I received my $125 P90 Toshiba notebook and my Orinoco card, and now I have a cheap remote control for all my A/V needs. I'm gonna figure out a mounting scheme for a microphone stand (etc.) to set this beside my favorite chair in the crib.
... there's only so much sailormongering one can prosecute whilst fighting a War on Terra.

If you're not comfortable, walk away. Honestly. You'll be happier with half the money, and all your dignity than vice-versa.
:)
I refused an NDA in re: non-clinical info, and three years later, I'm still around.

Get Avery Brooks to do one, dumbasses. And make sure Wheaton's scenes don't get cut.

Not so fast -- Mark's solution was, IMO, quite pragmatic and well-played.

Why should AT&T care?
