He then left to Saudi Arabia, which might be a good elderly home for Mubarak too.
When web browsers were new and screen real estate was limited, that might have been a good idea. What the hell is the point of removing functionality to save a dozen or two vertical pixels today?

The major goal of the Gotthard tunnel is not to improve travel time for passengers, it is to provide a high capacity line through the Alps for freight trains.
The new tunnel is approximately 600 meters lower than the old tunnel, which makes a huge difference in electricity consumption for freight trains.
Besides, the new tunnel has no spiral (helicoidal) tunnels anymore. I will miss them:-)

Filesystems have a much better idea of what data is going to be used frequently. This is an optimization they should be making. Seagate can make some good guesses by looking at block-level IO statistics, but that's like trying to optimize bytecode, all the really useful information is gone by the time you get to block-level IO.
You are 100% correct, but this drive has the huge advantage of working with ANY file system and ANY operating system.

But this is ridiculous. A movie can include dimensions which are simply not possible on a stage. I don't mean Avatar or Titanic, but just think of what Stanley Kubrick did with a camera...
And when a movie is just a recorded theater performance, it is usually a bad film (see many french films of the 40's-50's).
You should watch some films shot in Eastern Europe eg. the Decalogue series. (...) Ingmar Bergman is another great director who shot some of his films on small budgets.
Yes, there are a few exceptions, but you can't deny the fact that there is a positive correlation between the price of a movie and its quality (just ask any director if his movie would have been better with less money).
On the other hand, fantastic records have been made with a minimal budget.
