"Heck, it might be fun to figure out how/where to get the form, what needs to appear on it and get as many people as possible to send one in. Sort of 'slashdot' the system."
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Gigabyte's i-RAM yet.
According to Anandtech, booting with the i-RAM into Windows XP takes 9.12 seconds.
"With a Western Digital Raptor, you can go from the boot menu to the Windows desktop in 14.06 seconds; with the i-RAM, it takes 9.12 seconds. It's not instantaneous, but it's definitely quicker and noticeable."
It's not that you can't enter the Powell libraty without an I.D. It's just that UCLA policy requires that anyone inside Powell library after 11 p.m. must be a student and have an I.D. to prove it. It's suppose to help protect the students' safety.
That's how this whole incident got started. The student that got tasered didn't have an I.D. when school security went around checking people for their I.D.'s.
....allow the video content on their iPods to be viewed on the their seat back displays.
Why would the person behind me want or even care to see videos from my iPod on their display? Wouldn't it be a better idea to display the videos on the display in front of me and not on the display on the back of my seat?
The well known memory leak issue, which causes the Firefox browser to consume ever increasing amounts of RAM, eventually leading to sluggish performance and crashes, has been carried over into yet another generation.
So, does that mean that 640K won't be enough memory then?
My sincere hope - my challenge - is that those 90 percent will, in hopes of foiling my prediction, actually/read/ the text of the statement,.... Read the text, consider it,/then/ reply.
I'm guessing more in the range of $700-$800 because retailers will probably force bundled packages on us like they did with the XBOX 360 when it came out. And more likely so since this will be coming out right at the start of the holiday shopping season. It's going to be on many peoples shopping lists and people will pay those prices because someone on their list will be wanting one.
I know a lot of people who use Windows as their OS and they are very productive. Why? Because they are responsible and are able to manage their time. It has nothing to do with Linux. It's about getting your priorities in order.
It wouldn't be a big surprise to see the Merom in the iMacs since the Mac Pros have Dual-Dual Core Xeon processors in them. If Apple puts a Merom in a iMac, there'd still be a significant difference between it and the Mac Pro.
Maybe their designs sucked arse, or maybe MS decided to scrap the whole Mobile Halo idea....
Did I read that correctly? Vista is immune, as in Windows Vista?
[/shocked]
Does this also affect Foxit reader, or is this just exclusive to Acrobat?
"What are the best methods for removing almost any record of data?"
Have Chuck Norris give it a roundhouse kick.
I have no life.
Isn't this a dupe of this?

Here you go.
Google, of course.

I have no idea, but I can't wait for the repost within the next couple of days.

is to put frickin' laser beams on the heads of these species so that they'll be able to protect themselves.

Heh heh, you're funny.... Read the text....
You do realize you're on Slashdot, right?
You know, I wonder about the same thing with John C. Dvorak.
He's never right, yet he still has a job.
Checking places like Circuit City, Best Buy, EB Games, GoGamer, Amazon.com, etc... they are all selling the game for ~ $19.99
In that case, call it iMacDonalds. Oh, wait....
If you mean Windows Vista, then the answer is no. You'll need 16 cores for that.

Nope. It's going to be a new musical with Steve Jobs as the lead with a consort of OMG!!! Ponies!!!!
Only in Texas

But since when has the "average consumer" needed more than 4GB of RAM, let alone 1GB or 2GB's?
