Seriously, can we stop the "GNU/Linux will never make it on the desktop" arguments now?
Yeah, Linux must have really *made it* if one poxy company on the other side of the world installing it makes front page news on a website frequented by Linux zealots.
And in my moral system it would be okay to break your legs off at the knee and shove them down your throat. But like you said, everyone's different.. so try not to choke.:)
It might be alright in your moral system, but in the world's physical system, I'd love to see you try;-).
Especially since you aren't even brave enough to waste karma on your 'threat'.
* I got laid A LOT. Time, place, people, general zeitgeist? Who knows, but it was sure easy. Typical player arent you? Getting laid alot is nothing to brag about unless its with the same woman.
What? This is not a common viewpoint, my friend! Votes to follow below, I vote 1 for shagging MORE women, not one woman MORE.
So for just 399.99, I can have a little electro-gizmo that will do the job that I, as a parent, should have been doing all along (Tracking where little Johnny is, and what mischief he's been into)..
Has anyone considered that someone who snatches a child may take the precaution of taking such devices off them and throwing them away?
Is that like 'Choose communism - a billion Chinese can't be wrong'?

Having Microsoft at LinuxWorld is like having a KKK booth at an African American rally!
The similarities are remarkable...
- Both lie, cheat, and steal to promote their messages.
- Both prey on ignorance, and then fill those gullible enough to listen with lies and FUD.
If this analogy was even near true, how lame would it have been if the african americans had posted up their own message board where they all banged on and ON and ON to each other reaffirming the same tired old viewpoints. Nope, they went an did something about it. Look and learn. Or, alternatively, don't use such WANK similes in future you Linux zealot fool.

At some point... every single linux geek in the entire place is going to collectively turn to and point at the Microsoft booth, and then in unison, laugh their asses off, when one of the machines bsod's.
Is that right after every MS user has sneered at the downright WANK office suites on Linux? Or any one of the other good features of MS software? Uptime isn't everything you know!
choosing open source is such a good idea then do we really need shit like this pointed out?

Well, here's a heads up. That is exactly how human players prepare for matches against each other. They sit down and play through their opponents previous matches, and try to find weaknesses and holes to use against them.
Yeah - they ahve a big catalogue of games to go through when playing human opponents. But they don't have this when playing the computers, so they are at a distinct disadvantage.
Does anyone know if the computers have a 'style', i.e. that a grandmaster might be able to predict what they would do accurately in any given situation?
I believe something like this could be useful, if and only if, OpenSource and Freeware-like software is exempt. How can someone make a reasonable claim to damages if they got the item for free?
And this, m'lud, is exactly why companies prefer commercial software...
How can you provide a warranty against bugs when you have teenagers from all over the world making random changes to your codebase on Sourceforge?
1. Give away shoddy free software, written by teenagers from all over the world making random changes to your codebase. 2. Offer paid-for warranty / support 3. Profit!!
It's understandable why a book like this would have some errors, especially with vi and Vim's terse keyboard commands.

I hope you all apreciate the irony inherent in this post.
Me too - since you didn't appreciate the irony in mine.

Seriously, who gives a damn about where the DVD gets watched as long as they bought it. The manufacurers still get cash.
Seriously, I'd guess its the manufacturers, since they went to the trouble of doing it in the first place.

I do have morals, but in my moral system, if I'm single, having sex with several different women does not break any of them.
In yours, maybe it does.

2) I could see children being mugged because someone wants to steal these watches
Yeah, I can think of soooooooo many reasons why muggers would want a device that would allow parents / the police to track them!
Furthermore, without the locator doobrie, it's going to be pretty useless isn't it?
