    well, what gun companies are selling is not illegal. MP3.com was illegally distributing songs that spiraled into OTHERS illegaly distributing songs. At the least they are an accesory to a crime.

    i already checked, they are yet to be listed. It will probably take a few weeks before they are in end-user production availability. Who the hell wants to pay the price on a brand new CPU anyway? Im just watching for thd durons and athlons and MPs to come down.

    Either way, I tend to agree with all but a small portion of one comment, you forget guilty till proven innocent. Cyber squatters are shit, but that shouldn't mean my company has to give up our name if another company decides they want it, and had payed out their ass for a trademark just to take it from me. This should all be subjective, and up the courts...

    apple sells them off their site for 1100 bucks. A "quality" Intel machine is going to be all of that before that stupid internet rebate... its 6 of one, half a dozen of another, and its been far too long since I gave those stupid Hippie computers a chance.     they _are_ twice as fast. It's no simpler or more complicated. They are overlooked, and if wasn't for the lack of apps I would be on one of them, actually, if it wasn't for lack of the apps I'd be on one of them running LinUx -- even better...

    theyre competitive because they're not x86. Hondas are not necessarily a superior car to say a GM, but they are in a few ways, and they're different, not a real strong analogy, but I think you get my point. I'll pay the money to be different, thanks, i strive to be unique.

    not only is skip an issue, but the churning away of parts, and the buffering of sound that much ahead is a huge power drain, and damaging to the sound product. As I said before, the interest in MP3, for me, was lower power drain with no moving parts. that's just sexy

    i have bought a big pack of the cds, they were about ten cents cheaper per cd that my normal memorex cds I buy on a spindle. I guess for size they proly are a lot more than the large cds, but for the coolness factor...its a lot less waste too, if you dont need it, that makes me happier than just throwing away all that wasted space

    good call on the psychalgia, I used to run a comapany called MindStrain Authoring, and this was my handle from then, we have sicne merged to AUBURNskies Internet Enterprises, so I don't go by that co. name anymore.
